Devon Levi - Starting versus Carolina Levi will get the home start versus Carolina on Saturday, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Impact It will be Levi's fourth start in the last five games for the Sabres, Levi is 2-1-0, giving up 10 goals on 101 shots. He struggled against the Red Wings on Thursday, giving up six goals on 32 shots in a 7-6 shootout win. Levi will face the Hurricanes, who are second overall in the NHL standings with 109 points.

Casey Mittelstadt - Lights lamp twice in win Mittelstadt scored two goals in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact He potted Buffalo's first and third tallies on the afternoon, tying the game at 3-3 late in the second period. Mittelstadt snapped a 17-game goal drought in the process, but he'd been plenty productive lately with nine assists in the last six games. On the season, the 24-year-old has 12 goals and 53 points through 78 games.

Devon Levi - Hangs on for shootout win Levi made 26 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped two of three shootout attempts in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Red Wings.
Impact It wasn't pretty, but the 21-year-old was able to pick up his second NHL win in a wild affair. Levi had allowed just two goals in each of his first two starts, and with the Sabres all but eliminated from the playoffs, the young netminder will likely serve as their No. 1 goalie to close out the schedule.
