Catches two passes Week 15 Valdes-Scantling gathered in two of seven targets for 64 yards during Sunday's 20-19 defeat versus the Commanders. He also logged one rush for four yards.

Impact Valdes-Scantling briefly exited to be checked for a concussion during the fourth quarter, but he returned for the final drive of the game. The veteran wideout did not record a catch on three targets while quarterback Jake Haener was under center during the first half. He then wound up catching two long passes from rookie Spencer Rattler, who took over coming out of halftime. After totaling four touchdowns in his first three games with the Saints, Valdes-Scantling has gone two games in a row without a score. But, he's logged seven targets in each of these contests, and he's averaged 16.5 yards per targets on 21 targets across five games with New Orleans. The Saints will next play versus Green Bay on Monday, Dec. 23.

Four grabs in Sunday's win Valdes-Scantling caught four of seven targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants.

Impact The veteran wideout led the Saints in receiving yards, just nudging out Juwan Johnson's 50, but it was the tight end who caught Derek Carr's only TD. The QB left the game late in the fourth quarter to be checked out for a concussion and a hand injury, and while Valdes-Scantling has an 11-283-4 line on 17 targets over the last four games, he'll likely have trouble finding the same success in Week 15 against the Commanders if Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler is under center for the Saints instead of Carr.

Stays hot with another TD Valdes-Scantling corralled two of three targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Rams.

Impact Valdes-Scantling was the recipient of Derek Carr's only passing touchdown in a defensive battle with the Rams. MVS has been on a heater over his last three games, accruing 232 yards and four scores over that span. It is worth mentioning that the veteran receiver is averaging 2.3 receptions over his current hot streak, highlighting the all-or-nothing nature of Valdes-Scantling as a fantasy asset this season. He is worth starting against the Giants next Sunday and beyond until he cools off.

Another long TD in Sunday's win Valdes-Scantling caught two of four targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-14 win over the Browns.

Impact For the second straight week, Valdes-Scantling and Derek Carr hooked up for a long TD -- this one a 71-yarder in the second quarter -- but the wideout did most of the work this time, taking a short pass over the middle and racing more than 60 yards to paydirt. The four targets were Valdes-Scantling's highest volume in three games since joining New Orleans, but he's posted a mammoth 6-201-3 line on his meager eight looks. He'll try not to cool down during the Saints' Week 12 bye.

Strikes for two TDs against Atlanta Valdes-Scantling caught all three of his targets for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Falcons.

Impact He hauled in both of the Saints' touchdowns on the day, and his only non-scoring catch went for 67 yards. It was a stunning performance from the veteran wideout, who came into Sunday with only three catches for 31 yards on the year, but with Rashid Shaheed (knee) lost for the season and Chris Olave (concussion) lacking a clear return date, Derek Carr seems to have found his new big-play threat. Valdes-Scantling will try to solidify his spot in the New Orleans passing attack in Week 11 against Cleveland.

Catches one pass in NOLA debut Valdes-Scantling hauled in his only target for five yards during Sunday's 23-22 loss versus the Panthers.

Impact Valdes-Scantling had a quiet start to his Saints tenure, as he saw his lone target midway through the third quarter. The 30-year-old played 41 percent of offensive snaps, which trailed only Mason Tipton (76) and Cedrick Wilson (47). Meanwhile, WR1 Chris Olave was forced out with a concussion in the first quarter. If Olave ends up missing time moving forward, then Tipton, Wilson and Valdes-Scantling could all see increased targets. However they'll still have to contend with running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Taysom Hill, as these two led the team in targets Week 9 with nine and five, respectively. The Saints' next game will come versus the Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 10.
