DeForest Buckner - Goes on IR with high-ankle sprain The Colts placed Buckner (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Impact Per James Boyd of The Athletic, Buckner was confirmed to have sustained a right high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Packers after undergoing an MRI. While Boyd notes that the injury isn't considered season-ending, Buckner will have to miss the next four games by virtue of landing on IR and won't be eligible to play until at least Week 7 against the Dolphins. The Colts signed defensive end Genard Avery off their practice squad to replace the star defensive tackle on the 53-man roster.

Zaire Franklin - Double-digit stops in loss Franklin recorded 10 total tackles (five solo) and a forced fumble in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Packers.
Impact Franklin was able to cross the double-digit tackles threshold for the first time this season after doing so 11 times in 16 contests last year. Additionally, he punched the ball out as Packers' running back Josh Jacobs was on the verge of scoring a touchdown in the second quarter, which was ultimately recovered by his Franklin's teammate Laiatu Latu. Through two games in 2024, Franklin has registered 18 total tackles (nine solo) as the team's starting middle linebacker.

Impact Granson played the most snaps of Indy's three tight ends (Mo Alie-Cox had 18 snaps and Drew Ogletree had 14 snaps), but the trio amassed just three receptions and four targets for 43 yards after no tight end had a reception in Week 1. With the Colts using a more vertical passing attack than last season, none of the Colts' tight ends may get significant targets.

Impact Indy's tight ends have a combined three receptions in the first two games with no tight end having more than one reception. After two weeks, no Indy tight end looks set to produce viable fantasy value.
