DeeJay Dallas Keeps Legs Churning To Finish 4-Yard TD Run Seattle Seahawks RB DeeJay Dallas keeps his legs churning to finish a 4-yard touchdown run in Week 15 against the Rams.

Slated for change-of-pace role Dallas is expected to serve as the top backup behind starting running back Rashaad Penny in Tuesday's game against the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Seattle elevated Josh Johnson from the practice squad to give the backfield a third option, but there aren't any other threats to the No. 2 role after Alex Collins (illness) and Travis Homer (illness) weren't reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list for the Week 15 contest. Adrian Peterson (lower back) wasn't promoted from the practice squad either, so unless the Seahawks are willing to give Johnson his first NFL snaps, Dallas looks like he'll be the top change-of-pace option. Look for Dallas to see most of his reps on passing downs, where Homer has typically replaced Peterson, Collins and Penny this season.

Carries twice in win Dallas rushed twice for 16 yards in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Texans. He also returned two kicks for 41 yards.

Impact Dallas recorded just 10 offensive snaps even though Travis Homer (calf) was out of the lineup, finishing behind Rashaad Penny (35) and Alex Collins (14). He's highly valuable for the Seahawks on special teams, but fantasy managers don't need to keep tabs on him unless Penny or Collins is injured.

Impact Dallas logged just two offensive snaps while Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer and Adrian Peterson all played at least 18 snaps. However, Dallas had his best game as a returner this season. With Alex Collins (abdomen) expected to return next week against the Texans, Dallas isn't expected to get much tread on offense.

Impact Dallas saw starting tailback Alex Collins lose a fumble in the first half, which along with Seattle trailing later worked in his favor. Although Dallas wasn't particularly productive from a yardage standpoint, he still tied for the team lead in receptions, catching everything thrown his way. Given the Seahawks' banged-up backfield, Collins' underwhelming play and Dallas' presence as a pass catcher within a struggling offense, his stock is trending in the right direction ahead of Week 13's divisional game versus the 49ers.

Impact Dallas took over the passing-down role from Homer last week and finished with five touches for 27 yards and a TD on 37 percent of snaps in the 23-13 loss to Arizona. With Homer and Penny set to be inactive Monday night and Collins extremely limited as a pass catcher, Dallas should play a good number of snaps, potentially even getting more playing time than Collins if the Seahawks find themselves chasing a deficit again. That said, Collins has been the lead runner for nearly two months now, and while he hasn't had much luck in the role, it does probably give him better TD odds than Dallas, along with a higher workload floor. Josh Johnson likely will be called up from the practice squad to serve as the No. 3 back Monday night.
