Catches two passes in loss
Dallas caught two of three targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 37-34 loss to the Cardinals.
Impact
Chris Carson left in the second quarter with a foot injury, opening the door for Dallas to get on the field after logging no offensive snaps in Seattle's last game. The rookie was solid in his opportunities, and he could be counted on more moving forward because Travis Homer also exited with a knee contusion. If both Carson and Homer are forced to sit out next week against the 49ers, Dallas would line up as the No. 2 running back, a role that would yield a handful of touches.

No carries versus Vikings
Dallas did not receive an offensive snap during Sunday night's 27-26 win over Minnesota.
Impact
The rookie back out of Miami fielded four offensive touches during a Week 4 road win over the Dolphins, but he was not incorporated into the offensive game plan against the Vikings. Dallas did garner 18 special-teams snaps during the contest, but at running back, only Chris Carson and Travis Homer had any involvement offensively.

Could rotate in Sunday
Dallas could log his first offensive snaps in Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Dallas made his NFL debut in Week 3's win over the Cowboys but only played on special teams. He could get his first shot Sunday if Chris Carson (knee) and Carlos Hyde (shoulder) are unable to play. Both running backs recovered from serious injuries this offseason and were limited participants in Thursday's practice. If neither Carson nor Hyde suit up, Dallas would operate as the No. 2 RB behind Tavis Homer.

Not suiting up Sunday
Dallas (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Falcons.
Impact
The rookie fourth-round pick will put his NFL debut on hold, as Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, and to a lesser extent Travis Homer, will handle the backfield workload. Dallas had an impressive training camp, showcasing his pass-catching abilities, so he's still in the Seahawks' plans this season.

Facing tough path to snaps
Dallas could be stuck on special teams or the inactive list for much of his rookie season, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The unusual circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic add an extra layer of difficulty to the college-to-pro transition, and Dallas faces the added challenge of landing in a crowded backfield with Chris Carson (hip), Rashaad Penny (knee), Carlos Hyde (shoulder) and former college teammate Travis Homer. Injuries partially explain the depth, but it appears all besides Penny are expected to be ready for Week 1, which likely means Homer and Dallas will compete for the No. 3 job behind Carson and Hyde. Dallas has more draft capital behind him as a fourth-round pick, but Homer, a sixth-round selection last year, appears to be a more natural fit for passing downs, which could make him useful as a complement to Carson and Hyde. Dallas, on the other hand, is a 217-pound bruiser who ran a 4.58 40-yard dash after catching only 28 passes in three seasons at Miami (FL).
