INJURIES

Sits out another practice Dallas (ankle) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact Dallas seemingly isn't trending toward a return from a one-game absence to play in Thursday's game against the 49ers, as he hasn't taken any reps in either of Seattle's first two Week 15 sessions. On a positive note for the Seahawks, Kenneth Walker (ankle) --who joined Dallas on the sideline for last week's loss to the Panthers -- put in a full practice Tuesday and appears to be trending toward a return. Walker looks poised to reclaim a lead role out of the backfield against San Francisco, leaving Travis Homer as the change-of-pace option if Dallas ends up missing a second straight game.

DNP on practice estimate Dallas (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Like he was last week before not playing Sunday against the Panthers, Dallas wouldn't have practiced Monday if the Seahawks had held a session. At the same time, Kenneth Walker was tabbed as limited Monday, a notable sign of progress in his own recovery from an ankle injury. Walker thus is a step ahead of Dallas, while Travis Homer and Tony Jones sidestepped the first report of Week 15 entirely. Dallas will have two more opportunities to log some listed activity before the Seahawks potentially make a call on his availability for Thursday's game versus the 49ers.

Seahawks without RBs Walker and Dallas versus Panthers

The Seattle Seahawks will be without top two running backs Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas after both were inactive for the game against Carolina
DECEMBER 11, 2022 • Associated Press
Not playing Sunday Dallas (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Panthers.
Impact With Dallas joining top running back Kenneth Walker (ankle) on the Seahawks' inactive list for Week 14, some combination of Travis Homer, Tony Jones and Godwin Igwebuike will cover for them out of the team's backfield Sunday. Dallas and Walker now will set their sights on gaining clearance to play again Thursday versus the 49ers, with injury reports Monday through Wednesday potentially revealing whether or not they have a chance to suit up Week 15.

Not expected to play Sunday Dallas (ankle) isn't in line to play Sunday versus the Panthers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The same can be said for the Seahawks' top running back, Kenneth Walker (ankle), according to Fowler. While both are game-time decisions, Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff isn't exactly appealing for managers looking for alternatives. Assuming Walker and Dallas are included among the team's inactives, Seattle will be down to Travis Homer, Tony Jones and practice-squad member Godwin Igwebuike in Week 14.
DECEMBER 11, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Officially questionable for Sunday Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Carolina, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Dallas and fellow tailback Kenneth Walker were both considered to be game-day decisions, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Seattle also activated Godwin Igwebuike from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday, signaling that the team believes there's a good chance one of either Walker or Dallas won't be available Sunday. If both sit out, Travis Homer would figure to take up workhorse duties in Week 14 against an exploitable Panthers run defense. If available with Walker out, Dallas would figure to start at running back.

Game-time decision for Week 14 Head coach Pete Carroll said that Dallas (ankle), who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, is considered a game-day decision, John Boyle...
Impact Dallas and lead back Kenneth Walker (ankle) were both labeled as game-day decisions after failing to practice in any capacity Wednesday through Friday. The lack of practice activity doesn't bode well for Dallas' chances of playing against Carolina, but the Seahawks will presumably wait and see how he feels after an early workout Sunday before making a call on his status ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Given that he's handled a three-down workload since Rashaad Penny (ankle/fibula) landed on injured reserve ahead of Week 6 action, Walker's status is of more significance to fantasy managers than Dallas, who has mostly served as a lightly-used change-of-pace option this season. Even if Walker is inactive for the contest and if Dallas is cleared to play, Dallas may still likely find himself in a messy committee that could include Travis Homer, Tony Jones and a potential practice-squad call-up.
DECEMBER 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Status uncertain for Week 14 Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact Seattle could be shorthanded in the backfield this weekend, as both Dallas and lead option Kenneth Walker are carrying questionable tags into Sunday after both players' ankle injuries kept them off the practice field Wednesday through Friday, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Walker's status warrants more intrigue for fantasy purposes, but Dallas could be in store for more work than usual if he plays and the rookie doesn't. As the Seattle backfield currently stands, Travis Homer and Tony Jones are the healthy options, though the Seahawks would likely elevate another back from the practice squad Saturday if there's any concern that neither Walker nor Dallas will be available Week 14.
DECEMBER 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Still no activity at practice Dallas (ankle) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Both Dallas and Kenneth Walker haven't mixed into drills through two opportunities to do so during Week 14 prep as they deal with their respective recoveries from ankle injuries. At the same time, Travis Homer (knee) went from limited Wednesday to all activity Thursday, making him the best bet of the trio to be available to the Seahawks backfield Sunday versus the Panthers. Friday's injury report may include a ruling on the statuses of Walker and Dallas ahead of the weekend.
DECEMBER 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
No practice Wednesday Dallas (ankle) won't participate in practice Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Coach Pete Carroll relayed as much, including Kenneth Walker (ankle) on the list of non-participants among Seahawks running backs. Meanwhile, both Travis Homer (knee) and Tony Jones will take part in some capacity to begin Week 14 prep. There's no telling who among those four will be available Sunday against the Panthers, but Dallas' reported high-ankle issue seemingly doesn't have him in a great spot to suit up, which could be confirmed as soon as the release of Friday's injury report.

Has ankle injury Coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Dallas has "somewhat of a high ankle issue," John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact Dallas worked as Seattle's leading rusher during Sunday's win over the Rams, a contest which he managed to close out despite injuring his ankle on the final play before halftime. Kenneth Walker (ankle) left the game in the second quarter but isn't ruled out for Week 14 after undergoing an MRI on Monday, while Travis Homer (knee) was inactive Sunday. Given the backfield uncertainty heading into a Week 14 matchup against Carolina, fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on Dallas' health.
DECEMBER 5, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Leading rusher in Sunday's win Dallas carried the ball 10 times for 37 yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Rams.
Impact The Seahawks' backfield was a revolving door, as Kenneth Walker left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury only for Dallas to get shaken up on the final play before halftime. That left Tony Jones as the last man standing at running back for Seattle, but when Jones exited on the second drive of the second half after taking a hard hit, Dallas checked back in and the duo split snaps the rest of the way. Dallas wound up leading the team in rushing yards, and he could see a significant role in Week 14 against the Panthers depending on the health of Walker and Travis Homer (knee), who was inactive Sunday.

Three touches in loss Dallas rushed once for two yards and caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 40-34 overtime loss to the Raiders.
Impact Dallas ended up with nine offensive snaps, trailing rookie Kenneth Walker (46) and Travis Homer (13). As long as Walker is healthy, Dallas -- who has averaged 1.9 touches per game -- won't have much fantasy value.
NOVEMBER 29, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Minimal action in win Dallas rushed once for four yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Cardinals. He also returned three punts for 23 yards.
Impact Dallas handled just two offensive snaps in the divisional win, as Kenneth Walker (54) and Travis Homer (20) handled a bulk of the workload. As long as Walker and Homer are healthy, Dallas will have minimal fantasy value.
NOVEMBER 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Works as No. 3 back Dallas didn't record an offensive touch in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Giants. He did return two punts for 16 yards.
Impact Travis Homer returned from injured reserve in Week 8 and took over the No. 2 role, meaning Dallas handled just five offensive snaps. As long as Homer and Kenneth Walker are healthy, Dallas won't have dependable fantasy utility.
