Cleared to play again
Dallas (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Impact
Dallas returned from a two-game absence last week and caught six passes for 32 yards in a 24-10 loss to the Chiefs. He's unlikely to see that many targets even if he handles passing downs again, though there is a degree of opportunity with fellow Seattle running backs Kenneth Walker (ankle) and Travis Homer (ankle) listed as questionable. Walker, at least, is expected to play, and he figures to dominate carries again so long as he avoids setbacks with his ankle.

Remains limited Thursday
Dallas (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
Dallas was joined by Seattle's No. 1 running back Kenneth Walker (ankle) as limited after the latter missed Wednesday's session, while Travis Homer (ankle) has yet to practice this week. As a result, Dallas appears to be the better bet to get work behind Walker this Sunday against the Jets, assuming both are active and Homer is inhibited or sidelined. Operating as the No. 2 RB this past Saturday in Kansas City, Dallas turned 46 percent of the snaps into eight touches for 42 yards from scrimmage, which was a distant second to Walker's 53 percent, 28 touches and 105 total yards.

Limited Wednesday
Dallas (ankle) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker (ankle) and Travis Homer (ankle) were held out of drills to begin Week 17 prep. While Dallas seemingly is the healthiest of the running back trio, Walker's lack of participation likely can be chalked up as maintenance to ensure he's as healthy as possible for game day. Dallas was only slightly behind Walker in terms of snaps this past Saturday in Kansas City (35 versus 40 out of 76), but his touch count (eight) was a distant second to the rookie's 28. Even so, Dallas may be the Seahawks' No. 2 back again this weekend after Homer sprained his ankle Week 16.

Returns from ankle injury
Dallas (ankle) rushed twice for 10 yards and caught all six of his targets for 32 yards in Saturday's 24-10 loss to Kansas City.
Impact
Dallas returned from an ankle injury that cost him two games, promptly reclaiming his role as the team's receiving back behind starter Kenneth Walker (26/107/0). The latter jammed his already banged-up ankle on a couple of runs Saturday, but head coach Pete Carroll confirmed that his starter made it through the game in one piece. If Walker suits up for next Sunday's tilt against the Jets, Dallas would remain a non-factor in fantasy in Week 17.

Suiting up Saturday
Dallas (ankle) is listed as active Saturday at Kansas City.
Impact
The same can be said for fellow running back Kenneth Walker, who didn't practice all week due to an ankle injury and what coach Pete Carroll referred to as back spasms. Dallas himself has missed the last two games with a high-ankle issue, something that kept him to limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. While Dallas appears to be healthier than Walker at the moment, an available Walker likely will be the headliner out of Seattle's backfield Saturday, with Travis Homer and Dallas as the reserve options.

Return likely Saturday
Coach Pete Carroll said Thursday that Dallas (ankle) is slated to play Saturday in Kansas City, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Dallas suffered a high-ankle sprain Week 13 at the Rams, which so far has forced two consecutive absences. He was able to get back on the field Wednesday as a limited participant and maintained that activity level Thursday, with the Seahawks listing him as him as questionable for Week 16 action. Carroll expects both Dallas and Kenneth Walker (ankle/back) to be active Saturday, something that'll be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If the proceeding comes to pass, Walker almost certainly will lead Seattle's backfield, while Travis Homer and Dallas will be available in reserve roles.

Questionable for Saturday
Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game in Kansas City, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
While the team's No. 1 running back Kenneth Walker (ankle/back) didn't practice Tuesday or Wednesday, Dallas followed up Tuesday's absence with a limited showing one day later. Dallas thus appears to be in a better spot, health-wise, than Walker heading into the weekend, while Travis Homer is the sole healthy member of the backfield on Seattle's active roster. In the end, the state of the position group will gain some clarity once the Seahawks post their list of inactives about 90 minutes before Saturday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Returns to practice Wednesday
Dallas (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
The limited session marks Dallas' first official on-field work since suffering an injury Week 13 that head coach Pete Carroll called "somewhat of a high-ankle issue" at the time, per Boyle. Dallas predictably has missed two outings as a result, but his return to drills Wednesday may indicate that a return to game action is possible Saturday at Kansas City. Thursday's injury report could be telling for his chances to do so, which also can be said for the Seahawks' top running back Kenneth Walker (ankle), who has yet to practice this week. After the team waived Tony Jones on Wednesday, Travis Homer is the only healthy member of the backfield on the active roster.

Non-participant at walkthrough
Dallas (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Impact
Dallas has been sidelined for the Seahawks' previous two games and is in danger of missing a third. He will presumably need to get in some work at practice this week in order to get the green light for Saturday's game against Kansas City. No. 1 running back Kenneth Walker (ankle) was also a non-participant Tuesday, which leaves Travis Homer and Tony Jones as the only healthy backs on the depth chart.

Questionable for Thursday
Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against San Francisco, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
His status is of less interest for fantasy purposes now that Kenneth Walker (ankle) doesn't have a game designation. Dallas and Walker both missed Sunday's loss to Carolina, which allowed Travis Homer to step into the lead role. Homer played 91 percent of the offensive snaps, yet he had only 11 touches.

Sits out another practice
Dallas (ankle) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
Dallas seemingly isn't trending toward a return from a one-game absence to play in Thursday's game against the 49ers, as he hasn't taken any reps in either of Seattle's first two Week 15 sessions. On a positive note for the Seahawks, Kenneth Walker (ankle) --who joined Dallas on the sideline for last week's loss to the Panthers -- put in a full practice Tuesday and appears to be trending toward a return. Walker looks poised to reclaim a lead role out of the backfield against San Francisco, leaving Travis Homer as the change-of-pace option if Dallas ends up missing a second straight game.

ROTOWIRE
DNP on practice estimate
Dallas (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Like he was last week before not playing Sunday against the Panthers, Dallas wouldn't have practiced Monday if the Seahawks had held a session. At the same time, Kenneth Walker was tabbed as limited Monday, a notable sign of progress in his own recovery from an ankle injury. Walker thus is a step ahead of Dallas, while Travis Homer and Tony Jones sidestepped the first report of Week 15 entirely. Dallas will have two more opportunities to log some listed activity before the Seahawks potentially make a call on his availability for Thursday's game versus the 49ers.

Not playing Sunday
Dallas (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Panthers.
Impact
With Dallas joining top running back Kenneth Walker (ankle) on the Seahawks' inactive list for Week 14, some combination of Travis Homer, Tony Jones and Godwin Igwebuike will cover for them out of the team's backfield Sunday. Dallas and Walker now will set their sights on gaining clearance to play again Thursday versus the 49ers, with injury reports Monday through Wednesday potentially revealing whether or not they have a chance to suit up Week 15.

Not expected to play Sunday
Dallas (ankle) isn't in line to play Sunday versus the Panthers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
The same can be said for the Seahawks' top running back, Kenneth Walker (ankle), according to Fowler. While both are game-time decisions, Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff isn't exactly appealing for managers looking for alternatives. Assuming Walker and Dallas are included among the team's inactives, Seattle will be down to Travis Homer, Tony Jones and practice-squad member Godwin Igwebuike in Week 14.

Officially questionable for Sunday
Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Carolina, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact
Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Dallas and fellow tailback Kenneth Walker were both considered to be game-day decisions, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Seattle also activated Godwin Igwebuike from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday, signaling that the team believes there's a good chance one of either Walker or Dallas won't be available Sunday. If both sit out, Travis Homer would figure to take up workhorse duties in Week 14 against an exploitable Panthers run defense. If available with Walker out, Dallas would figure to start at running back.

Game-time decision for Week 14
Head coach Pete Carroll said that Dallas (ankle), who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, is considered a game-day decision, John Boyle...
Impact
Dallas and lead back Kenneth Walker (ankle) were both labeled as game-day decisions after failing to practice in any capacity Wednesday through Friday. The lack of practice activity doesn't bode well for Dallas' chances of playing against Carolina, but the Seahawks will presumably wait and see how he feels after an early workout Sunday before making a call on his status ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Given that he's handled a three-down workload since Rashaad Penny (ankle/fibula) landed on injured reserve ahead of Week 6 action, Walker's status is of more significance to fantasy managers than Dallas, who has mostly served as a lightly-used change-of-pace option this season. Even if Walker is inactive for the contest and if Dallas is cleared to play, Dallas may still likely find himself in a messy committee that could include Travis Homer, Tony Jones and a potential practice-squad call-up.

ROTOWIRE
Status uncertain for Week 14
Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact
Seattle could be shorthanded in the backfield this weekend, as both Dallas and lead option Kenneth Walker are carrying questionable tags into Sunday after both players' ankle injuries kept them off the practice field Wednesday through Friday, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Walker's status warrants more intrigue for fantasy purposes, but Dallas could be in store for more work than usual if he plays and the rookie doesn't. As the Seattle backfield currently stands, Travis Homer and Tony Jones are the healthy options, though the Seahawks would likely elevate another back from the practice squad Saturday if there's any concern that neither Walker nor Dallas will be available Week 14.
