Impact Beal banged his knee in Washington's final game heading into the break, and it's a bit concerning that it's still giving him trouble nearly a week later. If he's not able to get through practice within the next few days, he'll likely be watching from the sidelines Friday night. If that's the case, Deni Avdija would get a chance to start, Monte Morris would see an uptick in playmaking opportunities, and it would be Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis doing the heavy lifting on offense.

Jordan Goodwin - Upgraded to standard deal The Wizards plan to convert Goodwin's two-way contract into a standard NBA deal Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Impact Despite being on a two-way deal, Goodwin emerged as a rotational piece for Washington earlier this season and is averaging 6.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in 18.1 minutes per game across 40 appearances with the NBA team. With the Wizards backcourt having returned to full strength of late, Goodwin has fallen out of the rotation, appearing in just five of the team's past 14 contests. However, Washington no longer needs to worry about exceeding the 50-game limit at the NBA level that comes with players on a two-way deal, so Goodwin could start to see more playing time again behind the likes of Monte Morris, Delon Wright and Kendrick Nunn.

Kristaps Porzingis - Solid all-around output Porzingis provided 14 points (4-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 32 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 win over the Timberwolves.
Impact Porzingis needed 12 shots to score 14 points in what was a rather dull scoring performance, but he still had a decent outing overall after he managed to contribute multiple in each of the five major categories. He took a step back in scoring as Bradley Beal took over with 17 fourth-quarter points, but Porzingis remains an essential player for the Wizards offensively and should remain a reliable fantasy asset. He's averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 blocks per game through eight February appearances.

Deni Avdija - Comes close to double-double Avdija recorded 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals over 24 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 victory over the Timberwolves.
Impact Avdija wasn't particularly efficient from the field with his shooting, but he still posted a decent fantasy line due to his contributions in peripheral categories such as rebounds, assists and steals. He ended one rebound away from recording what would've been his fourth double-double over his last 12 games, and he's averaging 11.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game across eight February appearances.

Bradley Beal - Shines against Minnesota Beal ended with 35 points (14-28 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 victory over the Timberwolves.
Impact Beal took over the game for the Wizards in the fourth quarter and scored 17 of his 35 points in the final period, including a clutch three that iced the game for Washington with 37.1 seconds left on the clock. Beal enters the All-Star game on fire, scoring at least 30 points in three of his last four contests while averaging 28.3 points through six February outings.
