GAME LOG

Maxime Raynaud - Nets 14 points on seven shots Raynaud accumulated 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal over 35 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 100-98 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact With just one missed field goal attempt on the evening, Raynaud finished with a pristine true shooting percentage of 88.8. He's been playing well as a starter in Sacramento, posting averages of 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest, and he should continue to see quality minutes as long as Domantas Sabonis (knee) is sidelined.

Dennis Schröder - Hands out nine dimes in 26 minutes Schroder finished with 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-7 FT), one rebound, nine assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 100-98 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Schroder struggled to get his three-point shot to drop in this one, going 0-for-3 from distance, and he also finished an uncharacteristic 3-for-7 at the charity stripe. However, he did a nice job with his playmaking and only committed one turnover in his 26 minutes of floor time. Schroder is averaging 12.9 points, 5.8 assists and 1.5 triples per game this season.

Kings' lost to the Mavs in a game so predictable you could set a watch to it Once again, the Sacramento Kings fell apart in the second half and lost a game they absolutely should have won.

Precious Achiuwa - Re-enters starting lineup in loss Achiuwa provided nine points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, one block and one steal in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 100-98 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Achiuwa will probably remain with the first unit, as Keegan Murray's recent ankle injury will put him out of action for the remainder of the month. It now appears that Domantas Sabonis (knee) will be back before Murray, and it will be interesting to see what the Kings do with the combo of Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud when he returns.
JANUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Zach LaVine - Logs 20 points in starting role LaVine provided 20 points (8-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 100-98 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact After coming off the bench in his return from a nine-game absence, LaVine reclaimed his role in the starting five and carried a heavy load (37minutes) in the narrow loss. His heavy usage is a strong indication that LaVine will play without a minute restriction, though an upcoming back-to-back set this weekend might raise concerns about his availability.
JANUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
DeMar DeRozan - Logs team-high 21 points in loss DeRozan provided 21 points (8-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 100-98 loss to Dallas.
Impact The Kings struggled to put points on the board and recorded their fourth-lowest scoring total of the season in the narrow loss. DeRozan had a solid line with results in every statistical category, but the team failed to respond after Brandon Williams hit a three-pointer to put the Mavericks up for good. DeRozan bounced back from a two-game slump, where he produced a total of 24 points over losses against Milwaukee and Phoenix.

Keegan Murray - Set to miss at least three weeks Murray (ankle), who won't play in Monday's game against Dallas, is expected to miss at least three weeks, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.
Impact Murray suffered a left ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Bucks, and he could need to sit out as long as four weeks with the injury. The timetable for a return is likely to keep him out until late January or early February. With Murray sidelined, the likes of Precious Achiuwa, Nique Clifford and Keon Ellis will all have an opportunity to pick up the slack.
