Suffers leg injury Plowden suffered a right leg injury in Saturday's win over the Heat in the 2024 NBA Summer League, according to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Impact Plowden was helped off the court with an apparent right leg injury, and the Warriors are expected to be very cautious with him in terms of the potential recovery process. Plowden scored 24 points (9-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt) across 23 minutes in the win before exiting the contest.

Hits waiver wire Plowden was waived by the Magic on Saturday, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports.

Impact Plowden shouldered a nice chunk of playing time during Orlando's last preseason game against Flamengo, but he was unable to do much with the opportunity (three points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes). As a result, he'll head to waivers and could end up reporting to the Magic's G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic.

Signs with Orlando Plowden signed a contract with the Magic on Wednesday.

Impact Plowden spent the 2022-23 campaign in the G League, averaging 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.4 minutes per game over 24 appearances with the Birmingham Squadron. It wouldn't be surprising to see him back in the G League once the regular season begins.
