Impact The 16 boards were a new career high for Claxton, who supplemented the rebounds with his usual strong contribution in the blocks category. Poor free-throw shooting has dragged down Claxton's fantasy value to some degree, but managers drafted him with the knowledge that he would be a liability in that category. With averages of 13.1 points (on 73.2 percent shooting from the field), 9.1 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 1.7 assists and 0.7 steals for the season, Claxton has unquestionably outproduced his average draft position heading into the campaign.

With Kevin Durant (knee) still sidelined and the team potentially shorthanded due to the Kyrie Irving trade, Simmons may be in line to see increased usage during Tuesday's contest. While Simmons told reporters that he'll be playing, fantasy managers planning on activating him Tuesday will want to make sure the team confirms that the 26-year-old will suit up. Simmons is averaging 7.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals across 27.3 minutes over his first 37 appearances this season.

Impact Curry suffered the thigh injury during the third quarter of Saturday's win over the Wizards and was previously ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Clippers. However, given Vaughn's comments, it sounds like the veteran guard may be facing a multi-game absence. With Kyrie Irving off to Dallas and Spencer Dinwiddie not yet available, Edmond Sumner will likely be joined by Cam Thomas or Patty Mills in Brooklyn's starting backcourt, but all three guards should play close to 30 minutes against Los Angeles.
