The veteran big man also collected five rebounds and two steals, giving him a well-rounded stat line despite playing fewer than 20 minutes. Wagner's combination of scoring, rebounding and defensive production could make him a useful contributor if he earns consistent minutes, but as of now, he's slated to open the 2026-27 season as the backup center behind Day'Ron Sharpe.

Impact Ellis delivered an efficient offensive performance, connecting on three of his four attempts from beyond the arc and being one of four Brooklyn players who scored at least 15 points. He didn't record an assist, steal or block, making this a relatively scoring-dependent fantasy showing. However, his perimeter shooting helped Brooklyn maintain its offensive momentum, and he committed no turnovers during his 21-minute appearance. Ellis' ability to space the floor remains an important component of his potential rotation role.

Impact Randle made his biggest impact as a facilitator, leading Brooklyn with nine assists while taking just eight field-goal attempts. Impact After a one-game absence due to wrist soreness, Porter returned to action and paced the Nets in scoring. The veteran forward is coming off a 2025-26 campaign in which he averaged 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals across 52 appearances. He'll look to remain a high-level scoring threat entering his second regular season in Brooklyn.
