Flu Fighter Marcus Armstrong Leads Meyer Shank 1-2 at Road America

Fast Road America Practice Armstrong was fastest in opening practice for the XPEL Grand Prix NTT IndyCar Series race at Road America on Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 1:44.2714.

Impact Despite battling flu-like symptoms, Armstrong would power through this opening practice and give Meyer Shank Racing a 1-2 outcome when the session was complete. The young driver piloted the team's No. 66 Honda to the fastest lap of the Wisconsin road course and beat out teammate, Felix Rosenqvist, to lead the session. Armstrong looks like a potential podium threat for Sunday's XPEL Grand Prix at Road America.
