Andrew Vaughn - Resumes swinging bat
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that Vaughn (hand) has started swinging a bat, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact
Vaughn is just over three weeks removed from left hamate bone surgery and has finally taken a significant step in the rehab process. He will require some rehab at-bats before rejoining the Brewers' active roster, but it's unclear when he might be ready to begin a rehab assignment. Vaughn hopes to be activated by early - to mid-May.

Robert Gasser - Returning to action at Triple-A
Gasser (triceps) will make a start Friday for Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Gasser's last start came on April 10, as he was slowed for a bit by left triceps soreness. The southpaw has made two appearances for Nashville this season, allowing four runs with a 15:4 K:BB over nine innings of work.

Jackson Chourio - Hitting on field Wednesday
Chourio (hand) will hit on the field Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
It will be the first time Chourio has hit on the field since he landed on the 10-day injured list before the season following left hamate bone surgery. Chourio should be cleared for a rehab assignment soon if he continues to progress, and the goal remains for the outfielder to rejoin the Brewers' active roster in early May.

Thomas Pannone - Back in action at Triple-A
Pannone (forearm) struck out a batter and allowed three hits and no walks over three scoreless innings Thursday in his season debut for Triple-A Nashville after being reinstated fr...
Impact
Pannone sustained a left forearm flexor strain last spring and spent the entire 2025 campaign on Nashville's IL, and though his rehab bled into the start of 2026, he missed just a few weeks of the Triple-A season before slotting back into the rotation. The southpaw will serve as organization depth for the Brewers this season, but his lack of a 40-man roster spot makes it unlikely that he'll see action with the big club at any point.

Tyler Black - Returns from IL
Black (undisclosed) went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Sunday in Triple-A Nashville's 4-2 loss to Worcester after being activated from the 7-day injured list.
Impact
Black missed about two weeks of action due to the undisclosed injury but picked up right where he left off upon being cleared to play, as his ninth-inning double extended his hitting streak to seven games. With three key pieces for Milwaukee on the 10-day injured list (Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio and Andrew Vaughn), Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Sunday that Black could be an option to join the big club at some point in the near future once he gets in some more at-bats with Nashville, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

DL Hall - Gives up two runs in loss
Hall was only able to get through 0.1 innings Sunday as he allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks while tallying one strikeout in the 5-3 loss to the Marlins.
Impact
Hall pitched two or more innings in eight of his 20 appearances last season, but Milwaukee has asked the right-hander to go multiple innings just twice to kick off the 2026 campaign. The differing usage may be due to injuries to Jared Koenig (elbow) and Craig Yoho (calf), but it's something to monitor considering the bullpen hierarchy could see more shakeups as Trevor Megill (10.79 ERA in seven appearances) continues to struggle in the early portions of the campaign. Hall did not allow a run through his first eight appearances, but he's now given up three earned runs in his last two outings. Walks have been a factor in both of those as the 27-year-old now has eight walks in 9.2 innings pitched so far this year.

Craig Yoho - Notches three outs in rehab outing
Yoho (calf) worked around a walk and a hit batsman to deliver a scoreless inning in his first rehab appearance Sunday with Triple-A Nashville.
Impact
Yoho was placed on the 15-day injured list prior to Opening Day after suffering a low-grade right soleus strain late in spring training. Since he projects to handle a traditional relief role that will rarely require him to cover more than an inning or two, Yoho shouldn't require a lengthy rehab assignment before being activated. However, given that Yoho struggled in his limited big-league action in 2025 and still has two minor-league options remaining, the Brewers may opt to keep him in Nashville once he's reinstated from the IL.

Gary Sánchez - Drives in two Sunday
Sanchez went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Marlins.
Impact
Sanchez came through in a key spot late, lining a two-run single to right-center in the eighth inning with the bases loaded to cut into Miami's lead. It was the 33-year-old's only hit of the game after starting the contest 0-for-3, but it kept Milwaukee within striking distance. In his return season with the Brewers, Sanchez has provided strong power production, slashing .238/.429/.619 with five home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored across 56 plate appearances.

Jacob Misiorowski - Racks up nine K's during loss
Misiorowski (1-2) took the loss Sunday against the Marlins, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out nine over five innings.
Impact
Misiorowski's outing unraveled early, as he walked the leadoff batter, allowed a single and saw an error load the bases before a wild pitch brought home Miami's first run. The 24-year-old then hit Kyle Stowers to reload the bases, and the Marlins added two more runs on a double play and an RBI single from Liam Hicks. That first inning accounted for all the damage, however, as Misiorowski settled in and dominated the rest of the way, including striking out the side in the second. The right-hander generated an impressive 18 whiffs on 97 pitches and took the MLB lead in strikeouts with 42 total across 26.2 innings. Despite the loss, Misiorowski has been solid to begin the season, posting a 3.04 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. He's scheduled to face Pittsburgh in his next start.

Sal Frelick - Sitting amid slump
Frelick is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Impact
Frelick will hit the bench for just the third time this season and for the first time against a right-handed starting pitcher (Eury Perez). Luis Matos will check in as the Brewers' starting right fielder in place of Frelick, who is mired in a 3-for-30 slump at the plate over his last eight games.
