Tyler Black - Officially promoted Black was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Impact It was reported earlier in the day that Black was at American Family Field working out, and the team has announced that he'll join the active roster ahead of Monday's game against the Dodgers following the placement of Blake Perkins (calf) on the 10-day injured list. Black's last appearance for the Brewers dates back to June 29, and he's hitting .235 with two doubles, one RBI, three stolen bases and two runs scored in 12 games with the big-league club this season.

Impact Perkins was expected to be unavailable to play Monday as a result of a calf issue, which is now understood to be a strain. Impact Black is with the club at American Family Field on Monday but has not been added to the active roster. The Brewers seem hopeful that Perkins can avoid the injured list, but Black is around in case the injury lingers and a roster move is required.
