Jake Woodford - Logs long save in blowout
Woodford earned the save Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing two hits while striking out two over three scoreless innings.
Impact
Woodford entered with a large lead following Milwaukee's eight-run sixth inning and provided length out of the bullpen, tossing three scoreless innings to finish the game. It was his first save as a Brewer and the fourth of his career. The outing also helped the right-hander stabilize after he had allowed six runs over his previous 7.1 innings. Woodford now owns a 4.61 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and a 9:2 K:BB across 13.2 innings this season.

Chad Patrick - Limits Diamondbacks Tuesday
Patrick (2-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on one hit and five walks while striking out five over five innings.
Impact
Patrick was excellent early, keeping Arizona hitless through four innings before running into trouble in the fifth. The right-hander opened the frame by issuing three straight walks to load the bases, then surrendered his only hit of the night -- a two-run single by James McCann. Patrick has been a steady presence for Milwaukee this season, allowing two or fewer runs in five of his six appearances while posting a 2.57 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 16:13 K:BB across 28 innings. He's slated to face Washington in his next outing.

Luis Rengifo - Not in Tuesday's lineup
Rengifo is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Impact
Rengifo started eight of Milwaukee's past 10 games and started that stretch hot by going 6-for-17, but he's followed that with just one hit in his last 11 at-bats. Joey Ortiz will return to the starting nine at shortstop Tuesday while David Hamilton mans the hot corner.

Quinn Priester - Making next rehab start Friday
Priester (wrist) is scheduled to throw about four innings and 60 pitches in the next start of his rehab assignment Friday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact
The right-hander made the second start of his rehab assignment Sunday with Triple-A Nashville, throwing 45 pitches across 2.1 frames. Priester has struggled with his command in both rehab outings, issuing three walks in each start while hitting the strike zone with just 30 of 74 total pitches. His sinker also topped out at 92 mph Sunday after averaging 93.2 mph during the 2025 regular season. Priester was expected to require at least three starts in the minors before being activated from the 15-day injured list, but the control and velocity concerns will likely result in a longer rehab stint.

Christian Yelich - Remains on track
Yelich (groin) is ramping up his hitting and running work and still has an estimated return of mid-to-late May, Sophia Minnaert of Brewers.tv reports.
Impact
Yelich landed on the shelf April 14 with a left groin strain and was given an initial recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks, and he has apparently progressed as expected thus far. Gary Sanchez has operated as Milwaukee's primary designated hitter with Yelich on the shelf, but Tyler Black has also picked up a couple starts since getting promoted from Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Jared Koenig - Resumes throwing program
Koenig (elbow) is slated to resume a throwing program Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Koenig has been shelved for three-plus weeks with a sprained left elbow. Given the nature of the injury, the southpaw reliever will be brought along slowly. The Brewers do not expect Koenig to be ready to return until late May or early June.

Andrew Vaughn - Cleared for rehab assignment
Vaughn (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Vaughn has been sidelined since fracturing his left hamate bone Opening Day and requiring surgery. As long as the first baseman doesn't encounter any setbacks with Nashville, he is slated to return from the 10-day injured list May 4 versus the Cardinals. Jake Bauers has fared well as the Brewers' primary first baseman, and with Christian Yelich (groin) slated to miss a couple more weeks, there's room for both Bauers and Vaughn in the lineup.

Chourio (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Chourio will play a few games with Nashville before making his season debut May 4 against the Cardinals, if all goes well. The outfielder has been sidelined all season while recovering from left hamate bone surgery.

Quinn Priester - Lacks control in second rehab start
Priester (wrist) struck out two and allowed zero hits and issued three walks across 2.1 innings in his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Nashville.
Impact
Though he emerged from his second minor-league outing with a solid box-score line, Priester once again struggled to find the strike zone. After spotting just 12 of 29 pitches for strikes in his first outing with Nashville on Wednesday, Priester was even more inefficient Sunday (18 strikes on 45 pitches). The right-hander's velocity was also down in Sunday's appearance, with his sinker topping out at 92 miles per hour after averaging 93.2 mph with the Brewers in 2025. Though Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy previously said that the 25-year-old would need at least three starts in the minors before coming off the 15-day injured list, Priester's shaky control through his first two rehab outings suggests he'll likely need more time than that to shake off the rust as he works his way back from thoracic outlet syndrome.
