Impact Ginkel earned his way onto Arizona's roster by posting a 1.17 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 45:12 K:BB in 30.2 innings over 30 relief appearances with Reno. Despite the stellar numbers, don't expect him to occupy a key spot in Arizona's bullpen out of the gate.

Impact Ginkel spent the final few weeks of the 2021 campaign on the 60-day injured list, and he'll remain off the 40-man roster after several prospects had their contracts selected Friday. The right-hander posted a 6.35 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 28.1 innings across 32 relief appearances in the big leagues last year.

Lands on 60-day IL Ginkel was recalled from Triple-A Reno and placed on the 60-day injured list Wednesday with right elbow inflammation.

Impact Ginkel landed on the injured list at Reno in late July, and he's being move to the major-league 60-day IL to free up a spot on the 40-man roster. There's been no indication where the 27-year-old is at in his recovery, but given the length of his absence he won't be returning down the stretch for Arizona.
