Impact Cannon was pitching well until the sixth inning, when he allowed three straight batters (two hits, one error) to get on base. He allowed the go-ahead RBI double to Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Steven Wilson allowed two inherited runners to score to spoil what had been a promising outing for Cannon. This was his fourth outing in a row where he didn't walk any batters, and it was the first time he's fallen short of covering six innings since April 16 versus the Athletics. Cannon is now at a 3.76 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 42:17 K:BB over 55 innings through 10 appearances (eight starts). He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Rangers.

Impact Cannon has started in seven of his eight appearances on the season, but he'll enter Tuesday's contest out of the bullpen once Eisert exits the contest after likely working the first inning or two. Though he doesn't make many bats miss, Cannon has performed well over his last five outings, going 2-2 with a 3.30 ERA and 1.37 WHIP across 30 innings.

Impact Cannon certainly didn't overwhelm the opposition, as he tied season worsts with nine hits and one punchout, but he still managed to deliver his third consecutive quality start. While the right-hander has yielded a staggering 18 hits over his past two outings, that hasn't stopped him from throwing six innings of two-run ball in both appearances. Cannon hasn't lent a free pass in either of these starts. He'll still be tough to trust for fantasy purposes in his next scheduled start against the Reds at hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park, where he'll carry a 4.09 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 33:17 K:BB across 44 innings.
