Punches out eight in win
Fedde (7-9) allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks while striking out eight across five innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Marlins.
Impact
Fedde nearly made it through his start unscathed but surrendered a solo home run to Lewin Diaz in his final inning. He turned in a strong start otherwise, backing his eight strikeouts with 16 called strikes and 17 swinging strikes. The positive effort was much needed for Fedde, as he entered this outing having surrendered 13 earned runs across his last 14.1 innings. For the season, Fedde has a 5.16 ERA with a 120:44 K:BB across 122 frames.

Serves up three homers
Fedde gave up four runs on five hits -- including three home runs -- over six innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Thursday. He struck out seven and did not issue a walk.
Impact
While the 7:0 K:BB looks nice, Fedde also put it on a tee a few times, allowing two long balls to Stephen Vogt and another to Jorge Soler. Fedde has allowed 13 earned runs on 22 hits in his last three starts spanning 14.1 innings, bringing his ERA to 5.31 for the season.

Hit hard in matinee
Fedde didn't factor into the decision in an 11-9 loss to the Mets during the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, coughing up seven runs (four earned) on nine hits and a walk ove...
Impact
Alcides Escobar committed two errors in the second inning, which didn't help matters, but Fedde's performance was bad enough on its own, and he seemed doomed to his 10th loss until the Nats staged a late rally to send the game to extra innings. The right-hander will carry a 5.27 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 105:44 K:BB through 111 innings into his next start.

Dealt ninth loss
Fedde (6-9) allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out six over 5.1 innings, taking the loss versus the Mets on Sunday. He also hit two batters
Impact
The right-hander balked home a run in the first inning, but was otherwise solid until Javier Baez's two-run home run in the fourth. Fedde had won his last two starts before Sunday's shaky performance, which inflated his ERA to 5.08 with a 1.43 WHIP and 103:43 K:BB through 108 innings this season. The 28-year-old is projected to face the Mets again next weekend at home.

Spins gem in Miami
Fedde (6-8) allowed one run on six hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts through 6.1 innings, picking up the win in Tuesday's 5-1 victory over the Marlins.
Impact
Fedde never had to face more than four batters in an inning Tuesday, as he was dominant from the jump. The 10 strikeouts are a career high for the right-hander and the only run charged to his line came after he had exited the game. This latest performance also extends Fedde's string of great outings against the Marlins. Over 27.2 career innings against Miami, the 28-year-old has a 0.98 ERA with 30 strikeouts.

Inefficient in fifth win
Fedde (5-8) picked up the win in Tuesday's 12-6 victory over the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out four.
Impact
The right-hander was far from efficient, tossing 94 pitches (54 strikes) before exiting, but he did just enough to take advantage of the Nats' offensive outburst and qualify for the win -- his first since June 12. Fedde will carry a 5.14 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 87:41 K:BB through 96.1 innings into his next outing.

Lasts four innings in no-decision
Fedde didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Mets after allowing two runs on six hits and a walk across four innings, striking out four.
Impact
Fedde has gone 10 straight outings without picking up a win, a span in which he has three quality starts but also a period in which he has allowed at least three runs in seven different outings. That has been the story of the season for him, and his consistency issues are well reflected in the fact that he owns a 5.12 ERA across 19 starts (91.1 innings). That figure rises to 7.00 when accounting his eight starts since the beginning of July, though, so it's very hard to trust him across most formats right now.
