INJURIES

Works three scoreless frames Hall took a no-decision as the Brewers' opening pitcher for Friday's 6-2 win over the Phillies, tossing three scoreless, no-hit innings and giving up one walk while striking out fo...
Impact Since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list Monday, Hall has made two appearances, giving up one earned run over 5.1 innings. Though he was being built up a starter during his minor-league rehab assignment, Hall looks like he could fill a hybrid role that includes occasional opener assignments as well as more traditional relief appearances. Hall ended up working in tandem Friday with Quinn Priester, who covered the final six innings en route to notching his second win of the season.
MAY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Serving as opener Hall will start Friday's game against the Phillies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Hall will serve as an opener, though he could work multiple innings. He was activated from the injured list and made his first big-league appearance of 2025 on Monday, when he worked 2.1 frames while allowing one run. Quinn Priester is projected to cover the bulk of the innings.

Works out of bullpen Monday Hall (1-0) picked up a win while working 2.1 innings of relief in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Red Sox, allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out one.
Impact Fresh off being activated from the 60-day injured list Monday after missing the first two months of the season due to a left lat strain, Hall was quickly thrust into action. With starter Chad Patrick getting lifted from the game with two outs and a runner on second base in the top of the fifth, Hall came out of the bullpen to record the final out of the frame and then covered the next two innings before walking the lone batter he faced in the eighth. The Milwaukee bullpen was able to preserve the lead for the rest of the game, allowing Hall to come away with the win in his season debut. Hall had gotten stretched out to three innings during his rehab assignment and could be a candidate to make a start or bulk-relief appearance this weekend in Philadelphia, but the Brewers haven't confirmed their plans for the young southpaw.

Brewers demote Logan Henderson despite his success as team anticipates return of other pitchers

Logan Henderson is headed for the minors despite being one of the best pitchers in the Milwaukee Brewers' injury-plagued rotation this season

Back from injured list The Brewers reinstated Hall (lat) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
Impact Hall has been out since early in the calendar year with a lat strain but recently built up to three innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Nashville, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out six. He will presumably be available for length out of the bullpen for the Brewers' series against the Red Sox. The lefty pitched to a 5.02 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 44:21 K:BB in 43 innings (13 appearances) with Milwaukee last season.
MAY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Six Ks in latest rehab start Hall (lat) struck out six and allowed two hits and one walk over three scoreless innings in a rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Nashville.
Impact After kicking off his rehab assignment May 3 in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and making two starts, Hall has moved up to Nashville for his most recent two outings. He's delivered scoreless appearances in both of his Triple-A appearances, though he was much more efficient Wednesday while pushing up his pitch count to 57. The left-hander looks like he'll continue to get stretched out as a starter while he works his way back from the left lat strain that has kept him on the shelf all season, but the Brewers likely won't have a spot in the rotation available for him once he returns from the 60-day injured list. Hall has a minor-league option remaining and could stick around in Nashville as a member of the rotation once his 30-day rehab window closes, or the Brewers could have him serve as a multi-inning option out of the big-league bullpen.

Moving rehab to Triple-A Hall (lat) will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Hall is progressing in his recovery from a left lat strain that he suffered in late February, which caused him to start the season on the 60-day injured list. He's looked good in his two rehab outings in the Arizona Complex League, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out eight over five scoreless innings. Hall is aiming to throw 60-to-65 pitches Wednesday, and he'll need multiple rehab starts before being reinstated from the IL.

Beginning assignment in rookie ball Hall (lat) began a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Hall has spent all season working his way back from a left lat strain that he suffered early in spring camp. He's now due to begin pitching in a competitive environment, though he will require a healthy amount of reps in the minors before being ready to come off the IL.

On track for April 15 bullpen Hall (lat) is tentatively scheduled to throw a bullpen session April 15, MLB.com reports.
Impact Hall has been throwing on flat ground at the Brewers' spring training complex in Arizona and will be ready for mound work in mid-April if he continues to progress. He's slated for bullpen sessions April 15 and 18 before progressing to live batting practice April 23. Hall is on the 60-day injured list as he comes back from a left lat strain and isn't eligible for activation until late May.

Goes on 60-day injured list The Brewers placed Hall (lat) on the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for Jose Quintana, whose signing was officially announced Wednesday. Hall entered Brewers camp with a left lat strain and now isn't eligible to return until late May.
MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE
Not yet throwing Hall (lat) said Friday he hopes to be cleared to start playing catch next week, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Hall is a month removed from suffering a lat strain and appears to be nearing the end of his shutdown period. The left-hander may need to resume throwing soon to have a chance of being fully built up by Opening Day. Any additional delays could mean Hall begins the campaign on the IL.
