Rejoins bullpen
The Brewers reinstated Hall (pectoral) from the injured list Friday, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.
Impact
Hall has been on the shelf since early June due to a left pec strain, but he has been pitching in rehab games since July 19. Across four appearances in the minors, he gave up two earned runs on three hits and three walks while punching out nine batters in 5.2 innings. He'll replace Thomas Pannone on the Brewers' pitching staff and presumably work as a middle reliever.

Kicks off rehab assignment
Hall (pectoral) struck out a batter and allowed one hit and no walks over a scoreless inning Sunday in a rehab start with High-A Wisconsin.
Impact
After making it through a 20-pitch live batting practice session Thursday without incident, Hall was cleared to kick off a rehab assignment. The southpaw has been on the shelf since June 5 due to a pectoral strain, so he may require another tune-up outing or two in the minors before settling back into the Milwaukee bullpen.

Faces hitters Thursday
Hall (pectoral) threw a 20-pitch live batting practice session Thursday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Hall was up to 95-to-96 mph in the session and threw all of his pitches. The left-hander could begin a rehab assignment as soon as Sunday and believes he will be ready to rejoin the Brewers' bullpen after making 2-to-3 rehab appearances. Hall has been shelved since early June with a left pectoral strain.

Throwing on flat ground
Hall (pectoral) has progressed to throwing on flat ground from 60-to-75 feet, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact
Hall landed on the 15-day injured list in early June with a left pec strain. The lefty was given an anti-inflammatory injection earlier this month and cleared to resume throwing after visiting the doctor last week. Hall is aiming to rejoin the active roster for the Brewers by late July.

Hopes to be cleared to throw
Hall (pectoral) hopes to gain clearance to resume throwing during a checkup Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Hall has been sidelined for most of June with a left pectoral strain, and he was given an anti-inflammatory injection last week. If the shot did its job, Hall should be ready to resume a throwing program. The southpaw is targeting a late-July return.

Receives injection for pec
Hall received an anti-inflammatory injection for his left pectoral strain Friday, MLB.com reports.
Impact
Hall could be cleared to start throwing once the shot takes full effect, but the southpaw is still preparing to miss around 4-to-8 weeks while he works his way back from the pec injury. Prior to landing on the shelf June 5, Hall notched three holds and turned in a 2.03 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 32:24 K:BB across 31 innings.

Targeting late-July return
The Brewers expect Hall to return from his left pec strain in late July, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Hall was originally expected to return sometime around the All-Star break when he first landed on the IL on Friday, but the team has since determined that he will require a slightly longer recovery. Hall had been enjoying a career year before getting injured, posting a 2.03 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 31 innings.

Out with pec strain
The Brewers placed Hall on the 15-day injured list Friday with a left pec strain, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Hall had to leave an appearance Thursday against the Giants due to the injury, and an MRI revealed a strain. He will be eligible to return June 20, but it's likely to be an injury that keeps Hall shelved past the minimum absence.

Battling pec discomfort
Manager Pat Murphy said after Thursday's game against the Giants that Hall was removed due to left pectoral discomfort, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Murphy added that Hall is slated to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury, so more information on his status may be available ahead of the Brewers' series opener against Colorado on Friday. The 27-year-old southpaw has been enjoying one of the best seasons of his career so far, posting a 2.03 ERA and 1.23 WHIP through 31 innings.
