Ozzie Albies - Back to 100 percent Albies (hand) said Wednesday that he's 100 percent healthy for the start of spring training, Reggie Chatman of 11 Alive News Atlanta reports.
Impact Albies missed the final week of the 2025 season after suffering a hamate bone fracture of his left hand, but since the injury typically carries a recovery timeline of around 4-to-6 weeks, the 29-year-old has likely been back to full health for a while. The switch-hitting second baseman said Wednesday that he has something to prove heading into the 2026 campaign, coming off a disappointing season in which he posted a career-low .671 OPS over 157 games. Albies' ability to stay on the field and pile up plate appearances still made him useful from a fantasy perspective, as he delivered solid returns in the counting categories (16 home runs, 14 stolen bases, 74 runs and 74 RBI).

Grant Holmes - Fully healthy for spring Holmes (elbow) said Wednesday that he's 100 percent healthy as spring training gets underway, Reggie Chatman of 11 Alive News Atlanta reports.
Impact Holmes didn't pitch after July 26 last season due to a partial UCL tear in his right elbow, but he was able to avoid surgery and treated the injury with rest and rehab. He was cleared to begin a throwing program in early September, and after experiencing no complications while he continued to ramp up over the offseason, Holmes looks like he'll be free of restrictions heading into the 2026 season. Holmes being back to full health takes on added importance for the Atlanta rotation after Spencer Schwellenbach was placed on the 60-day injured list earlier this week due to an elbow injury that could require arthroscopic surgery.

Joe Jiménez - Availability uncertain for 2026 Atlanta manager Walt Weiss acknowledged Wednesday that he's uncertain Jimenez (knee) will be available to pitch at any point in 2026, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact Jimenez won't participate in spring training after he required a cleanup procedure on his left knee in November. The reliever previously had surgery to address cartilage damage in the same knee in November 2024, resulting in him missing the entire 2025 season. Weiss described Jimenez's more recent setback with the knee as a "very complex injury," which could prompt Atlanta to take a cautious approach with his recovery. After being placed on the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Jimenez won't be available for the first two months of the season, and given Weiss' pessimistic comments, the 31-year-old righty seems likely to be sidelined through at least the All-Star break.

Austin Riley - Looks healthy for camp Riley (core) took live batting practice Wednesday and appears to be facing no restrictions for the start of spring training, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact Riley appears to be 100 percent healthy heading into the 2026 campaign after he missed most of the final two months of the past season due to a lower abdominal strain, which he ultimately addressed via a core-muscle surgery Aug. 21. Though his reputation as one of baseball's more durable third basemen has taken a hit after two straight injury-shortened seasons, Riley won't turn 29 years old until April, and with some better luck on the health front, he could re-emerge as the 30-plus-homer threat that he was from 2021 through 2023.

Robert Suarez - Reports to camp after brief delay Suarez reported to Atlanta's camp Wednesday after being delayed by a visa issue, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Impact Suarez was tardy by just one day, so his preparation will not be affected. The veteran reliever signed a three-year, $45 million contract this offseason and is slated to open the 2026 season as the primary setup man for closer Raisel Iglesias.

Spencer Schwellenbach - Arthroscopic elbow surgery possible Schwellenbach said Wednesday that he could require arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs from his right elbow, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact Schwellenbach is already required to miss the first two months of the season after being placed on the 60-day injured list Tuesday, and a scope on his elbow would undoubtedly extend that absence. The right-hander was also sidelined for the final three months of the 2025 campaign with a small fracture in his elbow. It's unclear when a decision about surgery will be made, but it should be soon.

Joe Jiménez - Placed on 60-day IL Atlanta placed Jimenez (knee) on the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Impact Jimenez missed all of last year after undergoing surgery in November 2024 to address damaged cartilage in his left knee. He underwent another cleanup procedure in November 2025 for the same issue, and he will now officially sit out at least the first 60 days of the new season. His 40-man roster spot will be filled by Brett Wisely, who was acquired in a trade with the Rays on Tuesday.

Brett Wisely - Shipped to Atlanta The Rays traded Wisely to Atlanta on Tuesday in exchange for cash.
Impact The 26-year-old infielder was DFA'd by Tampa Bay on Friday after the team acquired Victor Mesa in a trade with Miami. Wisely will now recapture a 40-man spot upon moving to Atlanta, but he is out of minor-league options and will have to break spring training with the big-league club to hold onto his roster spot. Joe Jimenez (knee) was placed on the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.

Braves, Dylan Lee Learn Final Decision in Arbitration Case Lee was the remaining tendered player on the Atlanta Braves who needed his salary for 2026 settle, and that's now in the rearview mirror
FEBRUARY 11 • SI.COM
Dylan Lee - Wins arbitration case Lee will make $2.2 million in 2026 after winning his arbitration hearing with Atlanta on Tuesday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Impact The club had filed for $2 million, but Lee will be awarded an extra $200,000 after posting a 3.29 ERA and 0.98 WHIP across 68.1 frames last season. Raisel Iglesias figures to remain the go-to option for saves in Atlanta, but Lee should receive plenty of high-leverage opportunities after posting a 10.0 K/9 in 2025 and tallying a career-high 19 holds.
