Vikings vs. Cowboys SNF Highlights: McCarthy's 3 TDs Sink Dallas' Playoff Hopes

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys entered NFL Week 15 hoping to stay alive in the playoff hunt, but instead saw their chances plummet in a big home loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.

The Cowboys (6-7-1) struggled in all three phases in primetime and now find themselves closing in on another lost season. Star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, after exiting Week 14 early with a concussion, bounced back with another 100-yard game, but the offense managed just two rushing touchdowns in a must-win game.

Meanwhile for Minnesota (6-8), second-year QB J.J. McCarthy, in the midst of a seesaw season, again flashed his potential with a career night. The Vikings' year has hardly resembled their magical 2024 run, though SNF as well as the remaining three games still serve a purpose as an ongoing assessment of the team, namely McCarthy and his still-budding chemistry with star WR Justin Jefferson and the offense.
