Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix highlights: Kyle Kirkwood wins thrilling race

The 2025 INDYCAR season continued with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix on Sunday with one of the more hectic races of the year. Kyle Kirkwood claimed victory in Detroit, getting his second win of the season.

Kirkwood's victory means that only two drivers have still won a race so far this season. Álex Palou, who won the Indy 500 and five of the first six races this year, didn't finish Sunday's race after getting involved in a crash near the end.

There was another late crash involving Louis Foster and Felix Rosenqvist that caused the race to be delayed for several minutes, but it didn't impact Kirkwood, who kept the lead when the race resumed before driving to victory.
