College Football Week 8 Highlights: Georgia Downs Ole Miss; Notre Dame Beats USC

FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" crew emanated from Provo on Saturday ahead of a highly anticipated tilt between No. 23 Utah and No. 15 BYU (8 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app) that highlighted Week 8 of college football.

BYU held off a late Utah rally to secure a win on FOX. Earlier in the day, Michigan (5-2) kicked things off with a double-digit win over Washington (5-2).

A host of historic rivalries also added another chapter Saturday, with No. 9 Georgia outlasting No. 5 Ole Miss in a battle of top 10 SEC teams, No. 13 Notre Dame beating No. 20 USC and No. 6 Alabama defeating No. 11 Tennessee.
