Improves over weekend Hojgaard recorded an 11-under cumulative score at the Cognizant Classic to finish tied with William Mouw and Keith Mitchell for sixth.

Impact Hojgaard went even par over the first two rounds to barely make the cut. He was much better over the weekend, ending Saturday with a five-under 66 before surging into the top-10 of the leaderboard Sunday after posting a six-under 65, which included three consecutive birdies from holes two to four. Hojgaard ranked T5 in the field in birdies made, ninth in driving distance, 11th in SG: Approach-to-Green and T20 in driving accuracy. He has opened the 2026 Tour season with finishes of T22-T3-T6 and sits 27th in the FedExCup Standings. Hojgaard is in the field for next week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he's failed to make the cut in two previous outings.

Nearly overcomes triple-bogey Hojgaard shot a three-under 68 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish in a share of third place.

Impact It was certainly not the start you hope for coming into Sunday in the final group as Hojgaard made a triple-bogey on the par-4 2nd hole. To his credit he got right back to even-par for the round with birdies on three of the next four holes. Hojgaard then clawed even further forward with an eagle at the par-5 13th and a birdie at the par-4 17th. He ultimately would come up just one shot shy of joining a playoff between Chris Gotterup and Hideki Matsuyama. Hojgaard showed a lot of game this week ranking third in SG: Off-the-Tee and first in scrambling. The Dane is a three-time winner on the DP World Tour and it wouldn't surprise anyone if he picked up his first PGA Tour win in the near future.

Momentum halted after making the turn, but he still finished the week ranked third among the field in GIR percentage and fifth in putting from inside 10 feet. Hojgaard will tee it up again this week at TPC Scottsdale for his second career WM Phoenix Open appearance, having tied for 36th in his debut here last year.

T2 finish at British Masters Hojgaard finished in a share of second place at the Betfred British Masters after shooting a five-under 67 in the final round.

Impact Hojgaard threw everything he could at it, put ultimately ended up just one stroke shy of forcing a playoff with Alex Noren. It's been an up-and-down 2025 season for the Dane, but this is now his third top-five finish of the campaign. Hojgaard is now up to 20th in the DP World Tour standings and will likely play quite a bit this fall as he chases a Race to Dubai title. He ended the FedExCup season at 73rd in the standings and is in good shape to maintain full playing status on the PGA Tour as well. Hojgaard will look to add another top finish next week at the Omega European Masters and make it hard for Captain Luke Donald to pass on him for a Ryder Cup spot.

Impact Hojgaard handled himself brilliantly this week from start to finish carding four straight rounds of two-under par 69. This consistent play and ability to avoid the bogeys and double bogeys allowed Hojgaard to keep in striking distance of the lead through the championship. In fact he finished the week tied for fifth in amount of bogeys made (6), and only made one double bogey for the week. However, while he avoided the big numbers, he didn't make enough birdies to make a run. He finish tied for 23rd in total birdies made for the championship (16). This finish now makes it two straight top-15 finishes, and three straight top-25 finishes. Hojgaard is trending in a nice direction, and given his good ball striking of late, it will be nice to see how Hojgaard finishes the season.
