Teeing it up at Augusta National
Hojgaard is listed in the field for the Masters Tournament this week.
Impact
Hojgaard opted out of last week's Valero Texas Open after earning runner-up honors in Houston, but he'll return to tournament action this week at Augusta National for his third career Masters appearance. Dating back to a T27 at THE PLAYERS Championship, Hojgaard has gained a collective 10.15 strokes on approach over his past 12 rounds.

Not playing Valero Texas Open
Hojgaard has withdrawn from this week's Valero Texas Open, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
Hojgaard will elect to take the week off after his solo second in Houston clinched a spot at The Masters. This will be the third straight year that he tees it up at Augusta. Hojgaard is in the best form of his career having logged four top-six finishes thus far in 2026.

Solo second at TCHO
Hojgaard posted a 16-under cumulative score at the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish solo second and four strokes behind winner Gary Woodland.
Impact
Hojgaard built some momentum for himself on the back nine of the first round with three-straight birdies from holes six to eight. He carried that over the next two rounds, scoring 62-63 to enter Sunday one stroke back of Woodland at the top of the leaderboard. Hojgaard got off on the wrong foot in the final round with a bogey on the first hole, and his double bogey on the par-3 seventh all but knocked him out of contention after Woodland went four-under on the front nine. Hojgaard led the field at Memorial Park in SG: Approach while ranking second in birdies made, third in driving distance, fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee and T9 in GIR. His hard work Friday and Saturday built himself enough of a cushion to come away with the runner-up finish and guarantee his spot in the top-50 of the OWGR, punching his ticket to The Masters in two weeks. Hojgaard is currently listed in the field for next week's Valero Texas Open, where he finished T28 and T74 in 2023 and 2024, respectively, in his lone two outings at the event.

T55 at Valspar Championship
Hojgaard carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Valspar Championship to finish one-over and tied for 55th.
Impact
Hojgaard ranked third among the field at Innisbrook in ball speed, which is a good sign ahead of the upcoming Texas Children's Houston Open where distance really matters. However, he also averaged 3.5 bogeys per round this past week en route to his worst finish of the season. Hojgaard drops a couple spots to No. 37 in the FedExCup standings, but he remains top-25 on Tour this year in both SG: Tee-to-Green and SG: Putting through 23 measured rounds.

Third in SG: Putting at THE PLAYERS
Hojgaard posted a three-under 69 in the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship to finish in a five-way tie for 27th.
Impact
Hojgaard saved his best round at TPC Sawgrass for last, including a birdie on the difficult par-4 18th. The fact he was able to finish in the top-30 was an achievement in of itself, given that he ranked 72nd in SG: Off-the-Tee while connecting on just 24 of 56 fairways (T71). Other parts of Hojgaard's game made up for his inaccuracy off the tee, as he ranked third in SG: Putting, fifth in scrambling and in the top-30 in SG: Approach and Around-the-Green. Hojgaard has made the cut in each of his five Tour outings this season but will have his hands full at the Valspar Championship next week. In his lone outing in 2025, Hojgaard missed the cut by two strokes after posting a five-over 76 second round that included a four-over stretch across his last six holes.

T24 at Arnold Palmer Invitational
Hojgaard fired a one-under 71 on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish two-under and tied for 24th.
Impact
Hojgaard failed to break 70 throughout his week on a difficult Bay Hill setup, but he managed to convert 22 of 28 total scrambling opportunities while also gaining 1.65 strokes off the tee en route to his fourth consecutive top-25 result of the 2026 PGA Tour season. He resides 33rd in the early FedExCup standings ahead of his third career PLAYERS Championship appearance.

Improves over weekend
Hojgaard recorded an 11-under cumulative score at the Cognizant Classic to finish tied with William Mouw and Keith Mitchell for sixth.
Impact
Hojgaard went even par over the first two rounds to barely make the cut. He was much better over the weekend, ending Saturday with a five-under 66 before surging into the top-10 of the leaderboard Sunday after posting a six-under 65, which included three consecutive birdies from holes two to four. Hojgaard ranked T5 in the field in birdies made, ninth in driving distance, 11th in SG: Approach-to-Green and T20 in driving accuracy. He has opened the 2026 Tour season with finishes of T22-T3-T6 and sits 27th in the FedExCup Standings. Hojgaard is in the field for next week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he's failed to make the cut in two previous outings.

Nearly overcomes triple-bogey
Hojgaard shot a three-under 68 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish in a share of third place.
Impact
It was certainly not the start you hope for coming into Sunday in the final group as Hojgaard made a triple-bogey on the par-4 2nd hole. To his credit he got right back to even-par for the round with birdies on three of the next four holes. Hojgaard then clawed even further forward with an eagle at the par-5 13th and a birdie at the par-4 17th. He ultimately would come up just one shot shy of joining a playoff between Chris Gotterup and Hideki Matsuyama. Hojgaard showed a lot of game this week ranking third in SG: Off-the-Tee and first in scrambling. The Dane is a three-time winner on the DP World Tour and it wouldn't surprise anyone if he picked up his first PGA Tour win in the near future.

Third in GIR at Farmers
Hojgaard fired a three-under 69 on Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open to finish 10-under and tied for 22nd.
Impact
Hojgaard's final round at Torrey Pines was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 ninth to ultimately play hole Nos. 5-9 in a collective five-under-par. Momentum halted after making the turn, but he still finished the week ranked third among the field in GIR percentage and fifth in putting from inside 10 feet. Hojgaard will tee it up again this week at TPC Scottsdale for his second career WM Phoenix Open appearance, having tied for 36th in his debut here last year.

Share of fourth in Dubai
Hojgaard fired a two-under 70 during the final round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic to finish tied with Francesco Molinari and Jayden Schaper for fourth.
Impact
Hojgaard's best day came in the second round, when he carded five birdies on the back nine en route to a bogey-free, five-under 67 score. He finished third in the field in SG: Off the Tee and in the top-10 in total bogeys, par-5 scoring and SG: Putting. Despite playing in just two DP World Tour tournaments this season, Hojgaard sits 15th in the Race to Dubai Rankings with 354.78 points. He is in the field for the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour next week.

Bid to join playoff falls short
Hojgaard shot a five-under 67 in the final round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship to finish in a share of third place.
Impact
Hojgaard pulled off one of the best shots of the week on the 72nd hole. Needing an eagle to have any chance of a playoff, the Dane put his approach from over 280 yards away to within 20 feet. The putt was perfect speed, but just left an inch out on the high side. Hojgaard would have to ultimately settle for a share of third with Rory McIlroy. Hojgaard has now won in 2025, but now has his fourth top-4 finish of the year across both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. He will look to close things out strong next week at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai where he has finished T4 and 1st on two previous occasions.
