Falters after two double bogeys Ortiz scored a two-over 73 in the final round at LIV Golf UK to finish tied for 25th.
Impact Ortiz went six-under through the first two rounds and was one-under through the first 11 holes of Championship Sunday. However, his hopes of cracking the top-10 quickly faded after carding back-to-back double bogeys on the 15th and 16th holes. Ortiz's play has faltered since his T4 finish at the U.S. Open in mid-June. He has finished T25 or worse in each of the last three LIV Golf tournaments and missed the cut by two strokes at The Open last weekend. Ortiz sits 14th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 66 points heading into Chicago, where he finished T20 in 2024 and 12th in 2023.

Contends in major for first time Ortiz finished in a tie for fourth place at the U.S. Open after shooting a three-over 73 in the final round.
Impact Ortiz had not finished better than T52 in nine prior major championship appearances. Safe to say he was in unfamiliar territory going into Sunday following a three-under 67 in the third round to put himself into contention. Ortiz did a great job of staying level headed and battling. He at one point was in a share of the lead, but fell back with a sloppy double-bogey at the par-4 15th. This T4 does assure Ortiz a spot in the 2026 Masters and the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. Ortiz led the field in GIR's at Oakmont and will look to carry that strong iron play into the remaining LIV events this year.

T10 at LIV Golf Virginia Ortiz fired a three-under 68 in the final round at LIV Golf Virginia to finish tied for 10th.
Impact Ortiz started out slowly with an even par first round but bounced back Saturday with a bogey-free, six-under 65 that included an eagle on the par-5 fifth hole. He finished T3 in GIR (85.19 percent) and could have landed higher on the leaderboard with better performances off the tee and with his putter. Even so, Ortiz has finished in the top-10 in three of the last four LIV Golf tournaments and sits seventh in the individual standings with 66 points. He is in the field for the U.S. Open at Oakmont thanks to his T4 finish at the Dallas Qualifier.

Solo 16th on home soil Ortiz carded a two-over 73 in the final round at LIV Golf Mexico City to finish 16th.
Impact Ortiz opened the tournament with back-to-back three-under 68 rounds, but he tumbled down the leaderboard in the final round with double bogeys on the 15th and 18th holes. It was a disappointing finish on home soil for the 34-year-old Mexican, but he still managed to accrue points towards the individual season standings, where he sits 11th with 48.00 points. The International Series Macau winner will be in the field for LIV Golf Korea this weekend.

Disappointing T30 in Hong Kong Ortiz finished tied for 30th at LIV Golf Hong Kong with a cumulative score of six-under.
Impact Despite scoring two-under 68 across all three rounds, Ortiz had an inconsistent showing in Hong Kong, where his 13 birdies and one eagle were countered by six bogeys and one double bogey. He was middle of the pack in GIR (72.22 percent - T25), but he finished 52nd in both scrambling (46.67 percent on 15 opportunities) and driving accuracy (54.76 percent). Ortiz is 10th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 27 points heading into Singapore, where he finished 20th and T19 in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
