ImpactThe junior running back has a dozen touchdowns on the season with 901 rushing yards and an even 100 yards per game. It could be tougher to run in the next game at Clemson on Nov. 4. The Tigers' defense against the run is in the top 15 in the country.

Sam Hartman - Efficient at best in Irish winHartman completed 18-of-25 pass attempts for 288 yards but without a touchdown and two interceptions in the 58-7 Notre Dame victory over the Pittsburgh on Saturday.
ImpactBetween the running game and the Panthers turnovers, the Irish senior signal caller did not have to throw that much. In addition, he did not play in the fourth quarter as backup Steve Angeli took over. Despite the lack of touchdowns, it was the second most passing yards this season for Hartman. He should have a tougher time throwing the ball against Clemson on Nov. 4 at Clemson. The Tigers' pass defense is ninth against the pass in the country. But Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns against Clemson this season.
