Price will have a tougher time against the Cardinal run defense that is in the top 25 in the nation. Stanford's weakness on defense is against the pass where they are next to the bottom in the country.

Jordan Faison - Leads weak receiving day Faison only had 21 receiving yards on two catches as the Notre Dame passing game took the week off as the Irish won a 70-7 contest over Syracuse on Saturday.

Impact Since collecting 82 receiving yards on four catches in the 25-10 win over Boston College on Nov. 1, Faison has averaged 18 receiving yards in the last three games. Faison and the passing game should rebound against Stanford this Saturday, Nov. 29. The Cardinal defense is next to the bottom (North Carolina State) against the pass. Stanford defense allows 285 passing yards per game this season.

Jeremiyah Love - Second Career best day Love added 171 rushing yards on eight carries and three touchdowns in the Notre Dame 70-7 win over Syracuse on Saturday.

Impact Love's rushing day was his second best in his college days. The junior ran for 228 yards in the 34-24 victory over USC on Oct. 18. Love has 1,306 rushing yards on 185 carries and 17 touchdowns this season. He has one more game to Heisman Trophy campaign. The Irish finish the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 29 against Stanford. Love will have a tougher time against the Cardinal run defense that is in the top 25 in the nation. CJ Carr - Not needed in rout Carr had his least active game this season with 49 passing yards in completing only 5-of-9 pass attempts and only one touchdown in the 70-7 defeat of Syracuse on Saturday.

Impact Before Carr even took a snap on offense, Notre Dame was ahead 21-0 and after that the Irish just ran the ball down the Syracuse defense. Before the contest against the Orange, the redshirt freshman's lowest yardage output was against USC with 136 passing yards in the Notre Dame 34-24 win on Oct. 18. Carr should rebound against Stanford this Saturday. The Cardinal defense is next to the bottom (North Carolina State) against the pass.
