Scottre Humphrey - Another quiet day Humphrey tallied three rushes for eight yards and reeled in his only target for six yards during Saturday's 41-25 defeat against Boise State.
Impact Humphrey saw his role decrease again Saturday, as he's now been outcarried 18-to-9 by Damon Bankston over his last two games. After logging 28 carries for 174 yards in his first two games this season, Humphrey's been limited to just 107 yards on 28 carries in his last four contests.

Impact While Johnson saw double-digit carries for the second straight game, the senior wideout failed to get much going until he eventually salvaged his day with a four-yard touchdown late in the final quarter. When healthy, Johnson has proven to be one of New Mexico's primary weapons on offense. He's totaled 29 receptions (on 45 targets) for 346 yards and two touchdowns across five games this season.

Impact Thomas finished the day as the Lobos' leading receiver while hauling in his fourth touchdown reception. The sophomore tight end continues to be one of New Mexico's more reliable options in the passing game. Thomas is up to 348 yards on 32 receptions through six contests this season.

Jack Layne - Struggles in loss Layne was 7-for-17 passing for 115 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 41-25 defeat against Boise State.
Impact It was a tough day for Layne, who completed a season-worst 41.2 percent of his passes while turning the ball over three times before eventually conceding work to backup James Laubstein late in the contest. Layne has now thrown five interceptions in his last two games and eight overall this season. He'll look to rebound next week when the Lobos host Nevada.
