Jamal Bell - Questionable for Saturday Bell (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Nicholls State, Cody Junot of ESPN 1420 Lafayette reports.
Impact Bell missed the 2020 season after undergoing surgery for a torn PCL and sat out the season opener against Texas, but he may be able to play Week 2. He caught 34 passes for 445 yards and a touchdown in 13 games during 2019.

Errol Rogers - Won't play Saturday Rogers has a lower body injury and won't be available for Saturday's game against Nicholls State, Tim Buckley of The Lafayette Daily Advertiser reports.
Impact Rogers had five catches for 50 yards in the season opener against Texas, but he won't be on the field in Week 2. It's not believed to be a serious injury, and his next chance to take the field will be Sept. 16 against Ohio.

Impact Lewis' Louisiana team was a popular upset pick on Saturday, but the senior quarterback and the Ragin' Cajuns couldn't quite tame Texas. Even though the left-handed pivot didn't get the win, 282 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers in front of 91,113 hostile fans in a season opener is nothing to sneeze at. Lewis should have a much easier go of things against Nicholls next week.
