Running it back in Gainesville Baugh will return to Florida for the 2026 season, per Corey Bender of Rivals.com.

Impact Baugh was excellent as the Gators' workhorse back in 2025, just his true sophomore season. He ran for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 33 passes for 210 yards and two scores as well. With Florida bringing in run-first offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner, retaining Baugh was a huge talking point in Gainesville and the Gators were able to get it done. He'll be one of the better returning backs in the SEC -- and the entire country -- next fall.

Impact Baugh saved his best for last as he closes out the season with a career high 266 rushing yards. Baugh was also able to find the endzone twice as he ran for seven yards per carry in a domination of the Seminoles. Baugh closes out his sophomore season with 220 carries for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Barring an unexpected transfer, Baugh should be back for the Gators next season.
