Frankie Collins - Hopes to return in a few weeks
Collins (knee) hopes to return in a few weeks, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Collins hoping to return in a few weeks ensures that he will be out at least four games, all the way up to a Florida-Vanderbilt game scheduled for Jan. 17. The earliest he can play is a Vanderbilt-Arkansas matchup on Jan. 20. For at least four games, the Commodores will be without their usual sixth man, averaging 20.9 minutes with them this season.

Duke Miles - May be available Wednesday
Miles (knee) may be available for Wednesday's game against Alabama, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Miles is expected to practice Monday, a development that suggests he is making progress toward being available for Vanderbilt's next game Wednesday. Having him against Bama would be huge, considering how well the Tide have played this season and Vandy's lack of backup ones with Frankie Collins (knee) also recovering. At the latest, Miles' next update will come Tuesday via the SEC availability report.

Tyler Tanner - Metes out career-high 14 assists
Tanner finished Saturday's 83-71 victory over South Carolina with 19 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four rebounds and 14 assists in 37 minutes.
Impact
With Duke Miles (knee) and Frankie Collins (knee) out, the Commodores will rely on Tanner nearly exclusively for their playmaking. He showed he was capable of big things in the SEC opener against the Gamecocks. Tanner had his first double-double but saw his streak of at least two steals end at nine games. He has averaged 7.6 assists in his last five games. Vanderbilt faces its biggest test of the season against Alabama on Wednesday. Tanner five points in the loss to the Tide last season.

Washington closed with 10 points (3-5 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, one block and one steal across 20 minutes during Saturday's 83-71 win over South Carolina.
Impact
The 6-10 senior has scored in double digits in six of his last eight games. He was two boards shy of his first double-double of the season as the Commodores remained perfect. His minutes have been on the rise. Washington has converted 62.7 percent of his field goals on his way to a career-high 10.1 points. Vanderbilt faces Alabama on Wednesday. Washington had three points and five rebounds in a loss to the Tide last season when he was with North Carolina.

Chandler Bing - Logs season-high minutes in win
Bing racked up three points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds across 19 minutes during Saturday's 83-71 victory over South Carolina.
Impact
Bing didn't finish the win over the Gamecocks with a crazy stat-line, but he did log a season-high 19 minutes and broke his four-game streak of zero points. The freshman guard has now seen double-digit minutes in four showings this year.

Miles (knee) is out for Saturday's game at South Carolina, Alaina Morris of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Miles missed the Commodores' most recent win over New Haven, and he'll now be sidelined for back-to-back games as the squad travels to South Carolina. The senior guard's next chance to get back in action will now be this upcoming Wednesday against Alabama. Expect junior Tyler Harris to get another start in Miles' place.

Duke Miles - Warmups to decide availability
Miles (knee) will warm up for Saturday's game at South Carolina and may be available during the matchup if no problems, according to Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68.
Impact
It appears that instead of an illness, a knee injury is physically affecting Miles' potential availability. Vanderbilt's head coach Mark Byington recently announced that if Miles can warm up pre-game, the Commodores will use him at South Carolina.

Duke Miles - Questionable to play Saturday
Miles (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game against South Carolina.
Impact
Miles missed the 96-53 win over New Haven on Monday, but that was his first absence of the sseason. The questionable tag suggests a decision on his status will be made closer to Saturday's 2 p.m. ET tipoff. Miles is averaging a robust 17.1 points per game this season, so his potential absence would be a huge blow for Vandy.

AK Okereke - Logs two blocks in blowout win
Okereke produced seven points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Monday's 96-53 victory over New Haven.
Impact
Okereke hasn't been a big scoring machine for the Commodores so far this season, and a lot of it has come from him being inefficient from the field. However, the senior forward has found ways to contribute on other parts of the court, and he showcased this versus New Haven with two blocks and a steal. The 6-foot-7 starter is now averaging 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals on 23.7 minutes per game.

Impact

McGlockton logged 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 96-53 victory over New Haven.
Impact
This was McGlockton's first double-double of the season. He had two double-digit rebounding games previously, but failed to score at least 10 points in either game. He helped the Commodores to an undefeated non-conference slate by providing 10.6 points on 61.9 percent from the field and 7.3 rebounds. Vanderbilt opens SEC play on Saturday against South Carolina. McGlockton had 11 points and seven rebounds in a win over the Gamecocks last season.

Harris closed with 16 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, three blocks and three steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 96-53 victory over New Haven.
Impact
Harris slid into the starting lineup for the first time this season to replace the Duke Miles (illiness). The 6-7 junior fell one point shy of his season high and equaled his season high in boards. Harris had his best defensive game to boot. He is averaging 15.0 points in his last two games after being held to single-digit scoring i his previous six games.
