Tanner's play has helped Vanderbilt to its first 7-0 start since 2007-08 when the Commodores won their first 16 games. The team will put the streak on the line on Friday against the winner of the Virginia Tech and St. Mary's.

Impact Collins had missed the previous two games with an ankle injury, but he was all over the court in the win over the Hilltoppers. The TCU transfer should share playing time with Tyler Tanner going forward. Collins has played in four games and had at least five assists and three steals in every game. He has fantasy value, even as a bench player.

Collins has had a strong start to his Vanderbilt career, averaging 9.7 points, 5.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals in three games. This is despite the fact that Collins has been Vandy's primary guard off the bench, not a starter.
