Commits to Utah Burch has committed to Utah, according to his announcement Sunday.

Impact Burch brings Utah an all-around player for the Utes' 2026-27 season. After beginning his 2025-26 campaign relatively mildly, he became a regular starter and broke out, backed up by 15.1 points, 3.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals from late-December to the NCAA tournament. The 2026 Horizon League's Newcomer of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year will look to prove commanded interest in him was worthwhile despite a massive jump up for next season.

Entering portal Burch has decided to enter the transfer portal, Tobias Bass of The Athletic reports.

Impact Named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, as well as the Newcomer of the Year, and named 1st-Team in the conference. After averaging 12.4 points, 3.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game this, he should command decent interest in the portal.
