The point total represents the third time McHenry has topped 20 against Big 12 competition and the eighth time he's accomplished the feat this season. Through nine games in conference, McHenry has scored at least 15 eight times and is averaging 17.9 points, 3.1 boards, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals across 31.8 minutes.

Terrence Brown - Tallies 33 in losing effort Brown amassed 33 points (14-24 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and four steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 81-78 loss to Kansas State.
Impact Brown exploded for 33 points while shooting 58.3-percent on a season-high 24 shots, though it wasn't enough to prevent the Utes from suffering their fifth loss in six games to start the conference slate. The 33 points total was the second time he's reached the 30-point mark this season but it wasn't even enough to make him the game's leading scorer as Kansas State star PJ Haggerty went for 34 in the back-and-forth affair. Brown has been an elite scorer this season, entering conference play averaging 21.5 points per contest while shooting 45.5-percent from the floor. However, he's been even better since the Big 12 season kicked into gear, averaging 23.8 points while shooting 49.1-percent through that six game stretch.

Impact Dawes, coming off his fifth double-double of the season, is at risk of missing his first game of the campaign. It's unclear what's ailing the standout junior, but if he can't play, Josh Hayes or Kendyl Sanders could see more playing time.

Impact Dawes dominated the glass, crashing the boards for 14 boards en route to his fifth double double of the season during the Utes' win over TCU. Seydou Traore - Steady role for Utes Traore registered nine points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and three steals in 23 minutes during Saturday's 89-84 loss to BYU.
Impact Traore may not be the top offensive option for the Utes, but the junior guard has started every game he's appeared in at small forward while improving his scoring average by three points compared to last year with Iowa. The downside is that Utah has lost three in a row, is 0-3 in Big 12 play and is already well on the outside looking in with respect to the NCAA Tournament bubble.
