Murphy, Muszynski lead Belmont past UT-Martin 85-78

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Grayson Murphy and Nick Muszynski posted double-doubles and Belmont turned back Tennessee-Martin 85-78 on Saturday night.

Murphy finished with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting and 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season for the Bruins (12-5, 3-1 Ohio Valley Conference), while Muszynski added his third double-double in the past five games with 12 points and 10 boards.

Adam Kunkel hit half of his 10 3-point tries and scored 19 for Belmont (12-5, 3-1 Ohio Valley Conference). Tyler Scanlon had 14 points and six rebounds. Mitch Listau hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 off the bench, while fellow reserve Caleb Hollander totaled 10 points and six boards.

It was a three-man show for UT-Martin (5-10, 1-3). Quinton Dove led the way with 24 points, on 10-of-16 shooting, and 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the campaign. Derek Hawthorne Jr. added 22 points and nine boards, while Parker Stewart totaled 21 points, five rebounds and five assists. The rest of the Skyhawks accounted for 11 points.
