Still, no one could've predicted what went down on Wednesday night against Northwestern. Mills took a career-high 17 shots, knocking down an extremely efficient 12 of them, including a career high six three-pointers. Couple that with a perfect 9-for-9 showing at the free throw line, and it was an offensive clinic that almost singlehandedly willed the Terps to a win over Northwestern. Despite the abysmal season for Maryland, Mills just put the Big Ten on notice.
