Alex Kovatchev - Returning to Gators Kovatchev will return to Florida for his junior season, per his personal X account.
Impact Kovatchev was a non-factor with Florida in 2025-26 after he transferred from Sacramento State. The 6-foot-5 guard only played in 15 games, averaging 3.2 minutes. However, he'll return to Gainesville for his senior season, and will look for his role to increase in the Gators' backcourt.
APRIL 1 • ROTOWIRE
Alex Lloyd - Running it back with Gators Lloyd has re-signed with Florida ahead of the 2026-27 season, per Zach Abolverdi of On3.com.
Impact Lloyd had a quiet freshman year in Gainesville, appearing in 17 games averaging 1.2 points across 4.6 minutes. Still, he's clearly part of Florida's plans for the future, and he should look to see his role increase next season.
MARCH 30 • ROTOWIRE
Isaiah Brown - Retuning for Gainesville Brown will return to Florida in 2026-27, per Kyle Lander of Gators On SI.
Impact Brown took strides in his sophomore season with the Gators, averaging 5.5 points and 2.5 rebounds across 12.8 minutes off the bench. The 6-foot-4 guard will look to potentially compete for a starting role as a junior.
MARCH 27 • ROTOWIRE
AJ Brown - Will return to Florida Brown will return to Florida for the 2026-27 season, according to Kyle Lander of SI.com.
Impact Brown and his brother Isaiah are the latest two players who have decided to return to the Gators for the 2026-27 campaign, the same as Boogie Fland and Urban Klavzar. The junior guard didn't make a single appearance for the Gators in 2025-26 but will aim to have a bigger role in the rotation in 2026-27.

March Madness Meets the iPad era: How Coaches' Challenges are Changing the Game
Urban Klavzar - Announces return to Gainesville Klavzar will return to Florida for the 2026-27 season, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Klavzar, the SEC Sixth Man of the year, averaged 9.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists for the Gators in his junior season, also hitting 41 percent of his threes on 5.0 attempts per game. The sharpshooter will now officially run it back in Gainesville, and with Boogie Fland also announcing his return to the Gators Thursday, Florida has secured two core pieces for its 2026-27 squad.
MARCH 26 • ROTOWIRE
Boogie Fland - Returning for junior season Fland will return to Florida for his junior season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Compared to his freshman season at Arkansas, Fland's production fell off a bit at Florida because they had better talent. The 6-3 sophomore averaged 11.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals. With Xaivian Lee using up his eligibility, Fland should control the ball more and see his assists rise. It will be interesting to see how coach Todd Golden fills out the roster around Fland and potentially seniors-to-be Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon and Rueben Chinyelu.
