Eastern Michigan has secured a 64-56 victory over Cincinnati on Wednesday night

Day Day Thomas - Paces Bearcats with 17 Thomas ended with 17 points (5-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 64-56 loss to Eastern Michigan.

Impact Thomas bore the brunt of the offense for an otherwise moribund Bearcat squad, matching a season high by connecting on 4-of-9 from long range to lead the way. It was the third time in the last five games Thomas has scored at least 15, though his season low in assists was more due to the struggles of his teammates as it was the first time in six games he's dished out fewer than four. For the season, Thomas is shooting a solid 51.4-percent from distance, tallying 13.0 points per contest to go along with 4.1 assists, 3.7 boards, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks across 29.7 minutes.

Impact This was Miller's second straight absence, and until he returns to the hardwood, Jalen Celestine is expected to fill his place in the starting lineup. Miller's next chance to play will come against Tarleton State on Monday, Dec. 1.

Impact Miller's updated status suggests he will sit out another game. He already sat out Monday's game against NJIT, and the Bearcats responded to his injury-related absence by starting Jalen Celestine, who struggled with zero makes and six misses in 11 minutes. It would not be surprising if they make Miller sit out another game but opt for a change in their starting frontcourt.
