Which 10 players have the most career points in NCAA Tournament history?
Jizzle James - Goes for 17 in loss James registered 17 points (6-20 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 76-56 loss to Iowa State.
Impact James closed out the season by chucking up 20 shots, the fourth time he's taken 20 or more in a game this season. Ironically, he's connected on exactly six of those during each of those occurrences with three of Wednesday's six makes coming from deep. The sophomore point guard ends his season having reached double-figure scoring totals in 11 of his final 12 games, averaging 17.3 points per game during the home stretch. With the Bearcats unlikely to hear their name called on Selection Sunday, James and his teammates will wait to see if they get a return invite to the NIT.

Iowa State meets Cincinnati in Big 12 Tournament

MARCH 12
Day Day Thomas - Scores season high in win Thomas contributed 21 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists and six steals over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 87-68 victory over Oklahoma State.
Impact Thomas led the way for the Bearcats with a season-high scoring output while adding a career-high six steals during Cincinnati's big first round victory in the Big 12 tournament. The senior guard had reached double figures in 10 of his last 11 regular season games coming into the contest and continued that run to help the Bearcats advance to face a fifth-seeded Iowa State squad that won the teams' only previous matchup this season.
MARCH 11 • ROTOWIRE
Dillon Mitchell - Records season-best effort Mitchell racked up 18 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 87-68 victory over Oklahoma State.
Impact Mitchell saved his best for the postseason, posting season-high marks both off the glass and in distributing the rock while finishing just one point shy of his best scoring output of the season. The junior forward collected eight of his boards on the offensive end while also shooting 70-percent from the floor. Mitchell now has five double-doubles on the year and will look to keep things rolling against Iowa State Wednesday as the Bearcats look to pull off the upset over the fifth-seeded Cyclones.

Ousmane, Thompson carry Oklahoma State past Cincinnati 78-67

Abou Ousmane scored 24 points and Oklahoma State withstood Cincinnati’s rally beating the Bearcats 78-67 on Saturday to close the Big 12 regular season
MARCH 8
Dan Skillings - Closes on high note Skillings accumulated 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four assists, one block and two steals over 27 minutes during Saturday's 78-67 loss to Oklahoma State.
Impact Skillings came off the bench to record his best offensive performance in two months, shooting a season-best 7-for-13 from the field en route to his first 15-point performance since early January. The junior guard also added a season-high four assists to go along with his strong defensive play. Following last season's 12.9 point, 6.4 rebound breakout, Skillings was expected to be one of the stars for a Cincinnati club that was ranked 20th in the preseason AP poll. However, Skillings struggled significantly, averaging just 9.2 points and 3.7 rebounds while losing his starting spot midseason. Likewise, the disappointing Bearcats finished with a conference record of 7-13 and will almost certainly be on the outside looking in of the NCAA tournament unless they put together an improbable run through next week's Big 12 tournament.
MARCH 8 • ROTOWIRE
Simas Lukošius - Coming off bench Saturday Lukosius will come off the bench against Oklahoma State on Saturday, Neil Myer of Rivals.com reports.
Impact Lukosius started the Bearcats' last game against Kansas State, but will now be replaced by Josh Reed in the starting five.
MARCH 8 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Reed - Starting again Reed will get the start against Oklahoma State, Neil Myer of Rivals.com reports.
Impact Reed started four straight games for the Wildcats, was removed from the starting five against Kansas State, and now makes his return in the final regular season game. Reed averages 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds.
