Moustapha Thiam - Exits game Saturday Thiam exited Saturday's game against Houston with a foot injury, Keegan Nickoson of BearcatJournal.com reports.
Impact Thiam was forced to exit the game and was observed sitting on the bench wearing a boot on his right foot. Prior to his exit, the sophomore center totaled two points and three rebounds. He will hope to be available for Thursday's meeting with West Virginia.
JANUARY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Kerr Kriisa - Game-time call Saturday Kriisa is a game-time call for Saturday's game against Houston due to an undisclosed injury.
Impact Kriisa has played no more than 10 minutes off the bench in his last three appearances. The game-time call status suggests the senior guard will have to go through warmups to determine his availability. Kriisa is averaging 6.3 points, 1.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season.
JANUARY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Sencire Harris - Out once again Harris (illness) is out for Saturday's game at Houston.
Impact Harris will miss a second straight game while dealing with an illness, and his absence is significant since he's averaging 6.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his previous eight starts. Jalen Celestine should remain in the lineup with Harris sidelined.

Flemings leads No. 10 Houston against Cincinnati after 27-point performance

No. 10 Houston hosts the Cincinnati Bearcats after Kingston Flemings scored 27 points in Houston's 79-70 victory against the TCU Horned Frogs
JANUARY 30 • Associated Press
Jalen Celestine - Tough outside shooting Celestine ended Wednesday's 67-57 victory over Baylor with five points (2-10 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 30 minutes.
Impact Celestine has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option off the bench for Cincinnati, averaging 7.1 points and 2.9 rebounds across his last 14 games. He made just his second start of the season Wednesday, and while it was a rough shooting day (particularly from deep), the Bearcats won by 10 and Celestine had one of his better all-around days. A tough matchup awaits Saturday at Houston, and Celestine could return to a reserve role if Sencire Harris (illness) becomes available.

Baba Miller - Dominates the paint Miller finished Wednesday's 67-57 win over Baylor with 18 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 17 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes.
Impact Miller continues to dominate the painted area, pulling down 17 rebounds while adding 18 points, three assists, a block and a steal to help Cincinnati earn their third win in eight conference games. It was the ninth double double of the season for Miller and the third time he's accomplished the feat with at least 17 rebounds. The biggest curiosity for Miller is his insistence to throw up shots from long range, chucking up at least one in all but two games this season despite connecting on just three total at a 9.7-percent clip. Otherwise, Miller has been lights out this season, averaging 14.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.9 steals across 30.8 minutes while playing in 19 of 21 games.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Kerr Kriisa - Active against Baylor Kriisa (shoulder) produced zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one assist, one block and two steals in 10 minutes during Wednesday's 67-57 win over Baylor.
Impact Kriisa, who was listed as a game-time call pregame, was active during Wednesday's win over the Bears. The 6-foot-3 senior continues to be eased back into action with Cincinnati following his return from a shoulder injury (four missed games), averaging just seven minutes across the Bearcats' last three games. It remains unclear if Kriisa will be able to return to his regular starting role during Saturday's game against Houston.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Sencire Harris - Out with illness Harris (illness) is out Wednesday against Baylor, the program announced.
Impact Harris had started the previous eight games for Cincinnati, averaging 6.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in that span. He'll miss his first game of the season Wednesday night as he battles an illness, and will look to return to action on Jan. 31 at Houston.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Jalen Haynes - No timetable to return Haynes (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game against Baylor and still has no timetable for his return, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Haynes has yet to play this season as he continues recovering from a lower body injury, which is now being listed as a knee injury, Russell Heltman of SI.com reports. The senior forward's next chance to suit up would be in Saturday's meeting with Houston.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Kerr Kriisa - Game-time call with shoulder Kriisa (shoulder) is a game-time call for Cincinnati's clash with Baylor on Wednesday night.
Impact Kriisa has played in the past two games for the Bearcats after sitting out four straight contests, but he's been limited to 11 total minutes. The senior guard's status is now in question for Wednesday's game against Baylor, and even if he does play, it remains to be seen how big his role will be.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Shon Abaev - Out with knee ailment Abeav (knee) is out Wednesday against Baylor.
Impact Abaev was deemed doubtful to play Wednesday, and indeed, the guard will sit out against the Bears. The freshman, who averages 8.0 points and 3.0 rebounds, will miss his first game of the season.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Shon Abaev - Doubtful to play Wednesday Abaev (undisclosed) is doubtful to play Wednesday against Baylor.
Impact Abaev has started in 12 of his 20 appearances this season, averaging 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. If he's unable to suit up, look for Halvine Dzellat and perhaps Jalen Celestine seeing more minutes off the bench.

Moe Odum has 33 points and 8 assists, Arizona State beats Cincinnati 82-68

Moe Odum had 33 points, eight assists and three steals on Saturday night to help Arizona State beat Cincinnati 82-68 to snap a three-game losing streak
JANUARY 25 • Associated Press
Baba Miller - Just misses ninth double double Miller chipped in 23 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block in 34 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 82-68 loss to Arizona State.
Impact Miller tallied 23 points and finished just one rebound shy of his ninth double double, though it wasn't enough to prevent the Bearcats from losing for the fifth time in seven conference games. It was the fourth time this season and the second time in conference play that Miller has topped 20 points. The 6-foot-11 senior forward has played in 18 of the 20 Bearcats' games this season, averaging 13.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.9 steals across 30.4 minutes per contest.

Last Night in College Basketball: Nebraska's Best-Ever Start Now 19-0
Kerr Kriisa - Return to Tucson brief Kriisa (shoulder) contributed no counting stats in one minute during Wednesday's 77-51 loss to Arizona.
Impact While Kriisa was medically cleared before the game, he didn't really have an impact on it, and his presence could very well be attributed to him playing against his former team. After the game, coach Wes Miller explained a bit more, disclosing that Tuesday was the first time Kriisa had touched a basketball and that he hadn't taken any contact since (via Jason Scheer of WildcatAuthority.com). It seems like Miller and the Bearcats will eventually deploy the sixth-year guard at some point, but his ramp up may be gradual, so it wouldn't be wise to count on major contributions from a fantasy standpoint.
