Young's 25 lead Southern Utah past Texas State 74-67

RUSTON, La. (AP) — Zion Young scored 25 points as Southern Utah beat Texas State 74-67 on Wednesday.
Young had seven rebounds for the Thunderbirds (2-3). Dominique Ford scored 16 points and added six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Braden Housley had 13 points and shot 5 for 13 (1 for 6 from 3-point range) and 2 of 6 from the free throw line.
The Bobcats (2-4) were led in scoring by Kaden Gumbs, who finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Josh O'Garro added 12 points and seven rebounds for Texas State. In addition, Dontae Horne finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
