Solomon puts up 23 as Sacred Heart downs Le Moyne 87-81
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Raheem Solomon had 23 points in Sacred Heart's 87-81 victory against Le Moyne on Saturday.
Solomon added seven rebounds for the Pioneers (12-12, 6-3 Northeast Conference). Nico Galette scored 22 points and added 10 rebounds. Brendan McGuire finished 1 of 4 from 3-point range and 6 for 6 from the line to finish with nine points, while adding five rebounds and 10 assists.
Luke Sutherland finished with 26 points for the Dolphins (9-13, 4-4). Kaiyem Cleary added 23 points and two blocks for Le Moyne. In addition, Isaiah Salter had 12 points and seven assists.
Both teams next play Thursday. Sacred Heart visits Cent. Conn. St. and Le Moyne goes on the road to play Stonehill.
