Sears scores 30 as UT Martin beats SIU-Edwardsville 90-84
MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Jordan Sears' 30 points led UT Martin over SIU-Edwardsville 90-84 on Thursday night.
Sears added eight rebounds for the Skyhawks (17-11, 9-6 Ohio Valley Conference). Parker Stewart scored 18 points while shooting 5 for 13 (4 for 9 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free throw line, and added five rebounds. Desmond Williams recorded 16 points and finished 4 of 10 from 3-point range and 4 for 4 from the line.
Damarco Minor finished with 20 points and four assists for the Cougars (17-11, 8-7). Ray'Sean Taylor added 18 points and four assists for SIU-Edwardsville. In addition, Jalen Hodge had 13 points.

Both teams play again on Saturday. UT Martin visits Tennessee Tech and SIU-Edwardsville travels to play Tennessee State.
