Impact Sears left the game to get checked out in the locker room before returning to action. The senior guard closes out the season by averaging 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 25.3 minutes across 30 appearances.

Helped to locker room Sears was helped to the locker room in the second half of LSU's tilt with Texas A&M, Glen West of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact This is a huge in-game loss for the Tigers, as Sears was had nearly half of LSU's points (16) before he was knocked out of the game. He was reportedly grabbing his ankle, and needed some assistance getting off the court and into the locker room. That doesn't sound promising, and given that this is LSU's final game, it'll likely end his season.

Gets back on track vs. Wildcats Sears produced 13 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes during Tuesday's 95-64 loss to Kentucky.

Impact LSU as a whole was manhandled by Kentucky, but Sears played well, at least from a scoring perspective. He shot 71 percent from the field, and while he did turn the ball over three times to just one assist, it was a good bounce-back performance. Sears hadn't hit double-digit points since Feb. 8. He'll look to close the regular season on a high note against Texas A&M.

Dishes out five dimes off bench Sears had six points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and one steal over 14 minutes during Tuesday's 81-67 victory over South Carolina.

Impact Sears' five assists were his most since a six-dime outing against Alabama on Jan. 25. Couple that with two three-pointers, and that's a pretty solid showing off the bench for the senior. This was Sears' first game coming off the bench since Feb. 1, but he proved he can still contribute outside of the starting five.

Loose with the ball in loss Sears amassed 11 points (3-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 87-74 loss to Auburn.

Impact Sears committed six turnovers against the Tigers, a season high for the senior guard. He's also struggled with his efficiency since moving to the bench, shooting just 33.9 percent in those five games. He remains an important factor in LSU's offense, but he certainly has areas to improve as the regular season enters it's final month.

Not starting Saturday Sears (undisclosed) isn't starting for LSU against Mississippi on Saturday night.

Impact Sears has started every game for the Tigers this season, averaging 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He's been replaced in the starting five by Curtis Givens, a freshman making his first career start. It's unclear what's holding Sears out against the Bulldogs, but given his production, it's safe to assume there's some sort of issue with the guard.

Double-digit points yet again Sears ended Sunday's 80-71 victory over FGCU with 13 points (2-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals across 27 minutes.

Impact Sears has been a big factor for LSU early, averaging 15.5 points and specializing as a three-point sniper (7.2 shots from distance each game; 40.0 percent). It's been a pretty seamless transition from UT-Martin in his fifth-year senior season, and Sears has immediately become integral to the Tigers.

Impact Sears has hit at least 15 points in three of his four games to open the year. The point guard is taking matters into his own hands scoring-wise, attempting 8.8 field goals each game. That's what the Tigers need from their point guard. What's more, aside from a five turnover performance against Kansas State in the Octagon of Doom, he's taken care of the ball while proficiently facilitating the offense for his teammates.
