Impact Sutton is taking advantage of some weakness in the Tiger schedule. He has three double-doubles in his last five games and has averaged 17.6 points and 10.6 rebounds over that span. The 6-8 forward is second in the SEC at 9.3 rebounds to go along with 14.7 points on 51.3 percent from the field.

Impact Like the rest of the Tigers, Thomas did not play well against Texas Tech in the team's first loss last Sunday. He was held to one assist, his first game of fewer than five dimes. The Tigers must have been focused in practice during the week because they played much better against the Mustangs. Thomas leads the SEC with 6.9 assists in addition to 15.3 points on 46.8 percent from the field and 2.9 rebounds.

Impact Mackinnon was held to a pair of free throws in last Sunday's blowout loss to Texas Tech to snap a streak of double-digit scoring at four games. He equaled his season high in points and 3-pointers in the win over the Mustangs in his best shooting game of the season. Mackinnon is hitting 45.7 percent of his 3-pointers on his way to 12.7 points.

He is averaging 6.6 points on 70.3 percent from the field.

He started eight times for the Tigers last season and could make his way to the starting lineup in a pinch.
