LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — Kyle Rode put up 31 points as Liberty beat Western Kentucky 82-79 on Saturday.
Rode shot 9 for 15 (7 for 12 from 3-point range) and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line for the Flames (18-13, 7-9 Conference USA). Colin Porter scored 15 points and added six assists. Shiloh Robinson shot 4 of 5 from the field and 5 for 7 from the line to finish with 14 points.
Teagan Moore finished with 16 points and two steals for the Hilltoppers (19-11, 8-8). Tyrone Marshall added 11 points, two steals and two blocks for Western Kentucky.
