McGhee's 24 lead Liberty over FGCU 74-57
LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — Darius McGhee had 24 points in Liberty's 74-57 victory over FGCU on Saturday night.
McGhee was 10-of-21 shooting (3 for 10 from distance) for the Flames (18-5, 9-1 Atlantic Sun Conference). Kyle Rode scored 16 points while shooting 6 for 11, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc. Shiloh Robinson recorded 14 points and was 6-of -7 shooting (2 for 3 from distance). The Flames prolonged their winning streak to six games.
Isaiah Thompson led the way for the Eagles (14-9, 4-6) with 20 points. Andre Weir added 14 points, six rebounds and three blocks for FGCU. Zach Anderson also recorded 10 points.

Both teams next play Thursday. Liberty visits Austin Peay and FGCU hosts Central Arkansas.
