McBride scores 22 as Oral Roberts defeats Tulsa 79-70
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Issac McBride scored 22 points as Oral Roberts beat Tulsa 79-70 on Saturday night.
McBride shot 7 for 15 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 6 of 7 from the free throw line for the Golden Eagles (3-4). DeShang Weaver scored 20 points, shooting 6 for 12 (5 for 10 from 3-point range) and 3 of 5 from the free throw line. Jailen Bedford was 3 of 6 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 8 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding eight rebounds.
PJ Haggerty led the way for the Golden Hurricane (4-2) with 17 points. Tulsa also got 14 points and five assists from Cobe Williams. Keaston Willis also recorded 10 points.
